BRINK!
Brink! was one of the first and BEST Disney movies! As a young blader growing up in California, I totally identified with the rivalry shown in this gem.

As a tween entering middle school, I *rightthere* with Frances tryna navigate the madness! The other realm they visited was very spooky. Truly loved this film.
Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century
Zoom. Zoom. Zoom. This classic still makes my heart go BOOM-BOOM. Friendship? Sassy sidekick? Futuristic outfits? A misunderstood teen girl who can't avoid trouble but always manages to find a solution? THIS WAS MY LIFE!
Smart House
Dude, who didn't want a smart house and a real-life Siri?! Sure, she went a little cray-cray when they wanted to like, do their own thing, but when she calmed down and came back around? It was all gravy! Plus we got introduced to a true millennium bop: C'est la Vie by B*Witched.
Chez Starbuck was so freakin hot to me! And before this movie? I had never heard of a merman outside of The Little Mermaid. My teen years were awkward and rough so fantasizing about a life that I just hadn't discovered yet where I'd be revered and prideful was a favorite pastime.
P.S.: Chaz is still bae.

Y'all Writin Shit and It's A Tragedy...
Oh, well imagine... I'm pacing the floor of my living and I can't help but to hear... no, I can't help to hear there's gonna be YET another reboot of a show from my past.
Oh mylanta.
As a proud bingewatcher though I have to say... this reboot cycle we're in is (in small part) the fault of me and millions like me...
We're so stuck on the "good old days" of our GOOD T.V. shows that we automatically compare the new stuff to our old stuff. Then compound that with the fact that a lot of these new shows just suck, in general. And we get:
Big wigs thinking we want "that old thang back" with a fresh twist BUT in actuality...
we want BETTER shit.
9/10...WE ALREADY WROTE THE BETTER STUFF IN OUR HEADS!!
we're too poor to fund our own pilots
the market is too saturated...AND closed off
we're so damn overworked that only few of us swim through sea of insanity to the shores of success...
But these are just my thoughts...
