Ever since Regis died I've just felt like I'm drowning in my own sadness. So commissions are still open cause i gotta pay off my card from this stupid new phone i bought that i hate and you'll just have to be patient with me and keep your commissions a bit more simplified.

So I have been trying not to acknowledge the fact that Tiny Cooking exists for a long time because I really want to do it now. And the amazing stephicness wrote a piece about Ignis and tiny cooking but I need MORE! Please?

Hi, thanks for the ask! Here is stephicness’ post, let me try my take on it. (PS @stephicness if you’d rather I not link to your blog just let me know!)

Noctis shows it to Ignis at first, asking how hard it would be to do that.

When Ignis discovers this is less of an idle question and more of a “can you do it,” he looks into it further. Never could refuse the prince anything….

Per his analysis, specialized tools are needed but the rest of it appeared to be fine dexterity–similar to the skills needed to put together model ships and the like. 

Noctis glances at the model airship on his shelf, assembled for him by his advisor when the other man was eleven, and says nothing. 

Ignis isn’t overly surprised when tiny bowls and utensils and a tiny range sit on the counter a week later. 

“What would you have me attempt, Highness?”

“Pancakes.”

Unbeknownst to either of them, however, there was an aspect of tiny cooking Ignis overlooked….

You see, it is a somewhat silly thing. Just silly enough in just the right way that Ignis will find it hilarious. 

“This is ridiculous,” Ignis says, mixing a tiny bowl of batter.

Noct eyes the curve of his attendant’s mouth, smiling. “Yeah, it’s pretty goofy, huh?”

“Who would even eat this?”

“A very small Tonberry?”

“Just digs right in using its tiny meat cleaver, eh?”

Before Noctis can respond, Ignis snorts, laughs, and continues to laugh as he drops batter on to the tiny hot place surface of the range. 

Ignis chuckles and mutters “this is ridiculous” to himself as he makes the pancakes, laughing as he turns off the range and puts the tiny pancakes on a tiny plate and presents them to Noctis. 

The prince shakes his head at Ignis’ lighter mood and puts the entire stack in his mouth. 

“They don’t last long, Specs.”

“I’d imagine not.”

Obviously, Noctis asks for full-sized pancakes afterwards; which Ignis obliges. 

The advisor thought that the tiny cooking was over after that one incident, but after he’d had a particularly hard few days on their road trip, a familiar tiny utensil set is laid out on their prep table.

Prompto and Gladio scurry over, whereas Noct watches on from beside the tent. They had been told he could make tiny pancakes, could they see?

Ignis laughs hard, and long. 

When he recovers, the prince is smiling at him and is moving closer. He replies that he can, that they have the ingredients; and would his Highness like to have pancakes for dinner, then?

Yup, a personal mod this time. ♡ Nothing too extravagant though, I just changed the shirt color, cleaned up the dirty yellowish bits of his clothes and darkened the overall so that it would look neater. Oh, I added up some touches of blue, too, I think it fits sunshine boi better. ♡

You messaged me and explained that to me. You were civil and discreet. And if more people on Tumblr, or anywhere really, had the fortitude to handle things that way we'd all be better off.
