7. your preferred writing fonts
lmao is this because i was complaining about ellipsus. i used to just write in the gdocs default arial, sometimes in my notes app which is i believe roboto. the literata is probably fine but i'm trying out the atkinson hyperlegible now. hopefully i get used to it soon, i hate it right now it's like wearing the wrong clothes
27. your favorite part of the writing process
oh man when the ending comes together & suddenly it's blindingly obvious where all the pieces of an idea were leading up to! sometimes this is very early in the process -- i was chatting with someone yesterday & realized that of course in the fic where ilya jerks off to shane hollander's various advertisements, it MUST end with ilya laying shane out and stripping off his reeboks and rolex and armani etc etc until what's left is only the man. other times it is way later -- i wrote i think 2/3 of vodka fic before i realized the fic is about ilya not wanting to go back to russia. but when that last puzzle piece fits it feels SO good, oh my god. maybe if i were a more disciplined writer who did outlines it would come less as a surprise but i just love discovering what fic i'm actually supposed to be writing lmao
