How do you tell someone you like them without being too forward or not pressuring them im honestly having a hard time with this so ive known him since i was 7 so thats a couple years amd he keeps flirting with me

I think with something like this, you don't necessarily have to say those words...at least to start, you know? You can start by asking for/saying things that are more socially known to be romantic- "Hey, we should hang out just the two of us" "Hey, we should go to dinner and a movie" "Hey, you look so good in that outfit" Like...hint at it and see how he reacts, you know? You can also physically hint at it by grabbing for his hand, moving closer to him, etc. That kind of gives him the chance to do the same or reject you without having to say the words.

If you feel like you need to say it though (you've been doing these things and you're still unsure) I would just say, "Hey, I feel like things have been more flirty with us lately. Do you feel the same?"

I don't think there's anything wrong with being forward, either- it shows what you want, and that's great! But if you go with the less-forward approach, it makes it easier on you if he doesn't feel the same way.

Hey dad!
