hsdlfjsdlfj im gonna borrow @abyss-wolf ‘s Ats again for the second time today bc i cant decide between Previm x Alai (Pralai?) and Niko x Ats (Natswara???) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1. It took a while for Prev and Alai to get along, actually. They kinda used to hate each other. Previm is very laid-back and chill whereas Alai is witty and ambitious. Prev was first drawn to her sense of humor and bright energy, whereas Alai was drawn to how steady and confident Previm was as a person and a leader

Niko was drawn to Ats’s calm demeanor first (and let’s be real, he’s cute). He was very different from the typical Sith he’d encountered throughout his life, and despite their conflicting personalities, they’ve meshed well and Niko just felt comfortable with that. I’m guessing Ats likes that Niko is introducing him to the idea of having Actual Emotions, but like honestly how he deals w that whirlwind dork is beyond me lmao.

2. For Previm, it was the second year of their work together on Taris. They’d gotten lost in the wilderness (and totally had a “cuddle for survival” moment) and he was like “holy shit….my soulmate” because his culture really strongly believes in that. Alai fell first, though, when he’d saved her from being attacked by a pack of rakghouls during plague season and almost got infected because of it. Battlefield couple goals.

Niko knew he was in love sometime during the Voss trip. He got to know Ats as more than just the intimidatingly pretty guy who reads a lot and saw him in his element. Niko is really the only fighter of the two so I can imagine there being a few close scrapes with enemy Jedi or Gormak that would result in Niko having to reevaluate how he feels.

3. They used to fight A Lot when they were both Jedi and still figuring things out. Usually it was about whether or not they should tell the Jedi Council about their relationship and what that would mean for them. It took them a while to cool down despite the fact that they’re Jedi because they’re both little shits sometimes. Once their relationship was figured out, fights were usually over minor things like “did you seriously think having Force-sensitive kids wouldn’t result in bad tantrums?” and “you left the toilet seat up again and I’m kinda sick of it.” They make up by making awful jokes to each other and formally apologizing in a ridiculous sappy manner.

I honestly can’t imagine either of them getting in a fight, largely due to Ats being mostly unable to get that angry. If anything, Niko would probably do something reckless and be Unable to Face The Consequences. Ats would probably find it difficult to resolve it without being at LEAST a little petty, because sometimes that’s just what’s gotta happen, ya know? I think Niko would apologize very quickly (and most likely through tears bc that’s how he deals with a lot of situations), and Ats would diffuse the situation with a level head.

As if Niko wasn't enough of a handful, Niko on coffee is a downright nightmare. He probably goes through 8 mood swings within the first 20 mins, then the rest of the time he's like....not on this plane of existence. He probably claims that he's seeing the future at least once. He may even be telling the truth but at this point who even knows. When he comes down from his caffeine high, he can't move half of his face.

To see JoJo drunk is to witness a wine mom in her early stages. She goes around telling people how much she loves and respects them, even if she has no clue who they are. She probably starts crying over a really tiny pair of baby shoes she sees online. At one point, she puts on Cascada’s “Every Time We Touch” and tries to choreograph a whole routine to it. People need to physically stop her from buying an entire rotisserie chicken for herself.

I think out of all my ocs, Previm is the one I relate the most to. Like, he's been through some shit in the past but he can trust his loved ones to help him whenever he needs comfort. Plus he's the Jedi version of a suburban dad I mean how can that not be me?? He gets really excited about fluffy things and wants to pet them. Keep both of us away from very hairy aliens.

“What, you mean this old thing?” Previm asks, holding up the little holopicture. The cube flickers to life, projecting an image of two boys with their arms around one another. The younger one is obviously Previm, with the same joyful brown eyes and messy brown hair, recognizable even through the ex-Jedi’s graying strands. The other is a stranger, with sickly pale skin and an odd, empty smile. “It’s me and my brother,” he says with an air of fondness. “I was nine when he was fourteen. That was a great year. See, this was during this beautiful festival we hold in our village every year. You know, we would decorate the whole place, flowers everywhere…” He stops mid-sentence, sighs, turns off the projection and puts it back in a box of similar holos. “It was a long time ago. I don’t wanna bore you with the details. We had a…a falling out.”
