Grand Company promotions:
Reminder that if you’re struggling to earn Company seals for your promotions prior to being able to turn in items for seals as ‘expert delivery’ that one of the quickest ways to earn them is by spamming Grand Company leves! Fates are great because they get you EXP too, but if you’re on your own it can take a long time and get a bit frustrating if you turn up for one and theres no one to help you fell a boss, etc. etc. SO if you’re trying to get the seals specifically, my suggetsion is to go to your Grand Company Leve person in the lowest level area. You need to make max rank with your GC in order to own property/an apartment.
For the Twin Adder this is The Hawthorne Hut. There are two levemeets, one that’s general and one that’s Grand Company. The Immortal Flames levemeet is at Camp Drybone, and the Maelstrom one is the Moraby Drydocks.
You can find higher level ones for awarding EXP as well, but again if you’re just focused on the seals you need for a promotion, I suggest doing the level 20-25 ones, and picking the tasks that go by the fastest while ignoring the others. You can get around 130 seals per task if I remember right. That doesn’t sound like a lot when the promotions ask for several thousand, but if you get in a rhythm you can easily make a couple thousand seals with this method in an hour or so.

FATE findings
points awarded regardless of results (pass/fail/gold/etc).
points awarded are same whether you kill one or 6 mobs, but no points if none killed.
length/damage dealt does not seem to matter in boss fates arrived with 6s left, one aero casted.
you still get points even after level un-syncing for a low level fate.
no points if you leave the zone before fate ends.
still get points if you're dead as long as you're still in the zone.
still get points if you teleport to a crystal in the same zone.
