I made a template for digital artists, to make the pricing process of your commissions a bit easier! 💖
It's a ready-to-use Excel file that includes:
Different sizes: portraits, half body or full body, and different styles: sketches, lineart, flat coloured or fully rendered
Several add-ons, fees, and discounts in an integrated back-end tab: pets, simple backgrounds, extra items, complex backgrounds, rush fee, and an extra character discount.
Completely customizable to your preferred hourly rate, and time spent on an art piece.
And most importantly: easy to use! Insert the rate chosen, a few yesses or no's, and the calculations are done for you! The invoice is ready for you and your client, broken down with clear numbers.
Everything is explained very well in the guide I added, and there's an example added, but of course if you have any questions at all, feel free to ask me!

I do not have the capability of printing completed works, but I will provide a high def png file suitable for printing.
Pricing.
Since I’m still a little new to digital commissions. Pricing may change in future depending on response and result.
Pricing is based on the degree of difficulty and projected hours of work necessary.
Portraits -$150
Simple/plain background.
Examples:
Poses - $175
If limbs and/or hands are involved, more work is required. Simple/plain background.
If a specific, recognizable background is requested, the price increases by $20
Multiple Characters/Full Scenes $200-$250
Price will depend on setting/background/character interaction.
Bang Treatment - $200
Fic illustration + Banner
Examples are from bangs I’ve participated in. Commissioned pieces would simply not include Bang info. (And would emphasize author over artist, though I’ll include my name in a discreet way.)
Banners without accompanying art piece - $50

Various and Sundry
OCs are doable. I’ve drawn my own:

What I won’t draw:
Explicit stuff. I’m just not there yet, y’all. I might manage a bit of nudity on single character drawings, but likely no bits and bobs.
Underage characters in sexual situations. Underage characters in abusive situations is more than likely a no-go, too. Depends on your story (if I’m illustrating one) and context. We’d have to chat.
Wincest or shippy RP stuff I don’t mind if you ship it, I just don’t wanna draw it. I’ll draw J2 and The Boys, just not being handsy.
Your friends and family members. Most selfie/candid type pictures are not lit/composed in a way that is friendly to arting. Bright, even lighting is great for preserving your memories in photo form but really difficult to paint. And if you don’t want me to share the finished product because it’s private/personal, then I don’t get to advertise it to generate new commissions. If you provide me with a picture of your S/O adequate for drawing and talk me into accepting the commission, know beforehand that I will be posting it publicly. This is (no longer) negotiable.
Also, please don’t ask me to draw Baby, y’all. She’s hella difficult. I might be persuaded, but it depends on the composition.

ATTN: I’m experimenting with some new art styles. These prices are for the photorealistic stuff I usually do. Prices listed above are guidelines, they aren’t written in stone. If you’d like something, chat with me, I’ll give it a think and quote you a price. Or tell me your price range and we’ll see what we can work out.
Payment
Payment is required up front via PayPal invoice. Once payment is received, you’ll be placed in the commissions queue (assuming there is one) and I will begin work ASAP. I generally work quickly, but I’m also spoonie and flare ups may delay delivery, though likely not by much. Art takes time, though, so please anticipate that. You will not have your drawing overnight. If the requested work needs to be completed by a certain date, please let me know.

I reserve the right to decline any commission but I'm pretty easy going. I do work full time on a 7 day basis so my availability can be choppy but I always find time for art. Most commissions take 7-10 days for completion.
Payment must be made before I can start work. I will do a mock up messy sketch for your approval to ballpark how the commission will turn out. Payments are made though paypal.

Hey there! I’ve been getting a lot of price inquiries for my commissions! So here is an updated pricing page I am going to try and make easier to find.
Pricing is as follows:
Plakats/Female Betta start off at $25
Crown Tail Betta Start off at $40
Any other tail type starts at $30
This is the starting price. If you have a fish with a lot of different colors, the price is going to be higher. Other fish will done on a quote basis once I see what type of fish it is, so if you'd like to email me photos to [email protected], I can give you a price.
Right now I am only take on 2 charms per week to get back into the swing of things. I am selling slots for future dates. You pay half the total price to secure the spot, and the other half on the start date.
If you are interested in securing a spot, what I do is send an invoice out to you via PayPal for partial payment. I am willing to work with other payment methods, but PayPal is great because invoicing keeps us both secure.
Once payment is received, I will start your sculpt. I ask for at least 1 week to complete your charm. Sometimes it takes longer depending on communication; the faster you approve the stages of my work, the faster I can get it finished. I send progress photos throughout the entire process for you to approve, or to ask for changes.
Shipping cost $4.75. You get a cardboard jewelry box with cotton to keep the charm safe, and the charm is finished in gold/silver leaf on the back. You get to choose between a gold leaf or silver leaf finish for the flat back of the charm. You also get a choice between a silver or gold jewelry bale. You also can choose to have a clear stick attached instead so you can insert the fish in a potting substrate or something similar.

Does anyone know a good way to determine appropriate pricing for your market box items? I wanted to sell a tuna and the default price on it was 50k, which I think is a *bit* steep lol
