Some doctors are prigs and drug dealers.
There are more than their fair share of doctors out there that are just a bunch of drug pushing dealers who profit off other's pain and misery. They revel in the induced addictions they create that keep their patients locked into multiple visits. Bunch of prigs. PRIGS I say. SOOOOO goodamn frustrated. SUCH a hater right now. And yes, this is one of "those" stupid statuses that people seem to love to berate and mock and if you have a problem with it, delete me, I don't give a shit.
Mario Giacomelli : From the series Slaughterhouse Italy 1961
A prig is a fellow who is always making you a present of his opinions.
George Eliot, Middlemarch
I don't believe in principles. It just makes you uptight, and it limits you from certain things you could possibly explore. It would keep you from experiencing liberating moments, moments that could take your breath away, moments that could blow your mind away, moments that are so wonderful you don't even have a single word to express it, that even language is insufficient to express how you feel...
It stops you from keeping an open mind. If you're so busy making sure you haven't eaten all the words you've said, you'd end up being like those prigs, only concern about how right they are, without even noticing, even for a bit, that they're actually trying so hard to be right, that they no longer are rooting for the right things.
