The Howling Eye - Write a description of the opening cut-scene preceding the fight
(so the Arcbane siblings would likely become a primal either as s/he died fighting an Ascian, or was tempted with the power to challenge Zodiark, took it, and succumbed to it in the process, if I had to guess context, just to preface why they’re both in what is probably a 5.0 area)
Serella: Though not a place of opulence, there is still a sense of grandeur in the grand entryway to the Garlean Throne Room. Where there had been an Emperor- an Ascian- seated upon the elegant throne, there was instead a woman in ornate armor. Her gear- and her- have seen better days; a red stained sword, a shield with a thousand battles carved into its surface, armor dingy and dirty with the grime of a thousand wars, donned by a woman with the scars of countless struggles. And yet, she is draped upon the throne languidly, as if she was right where she needed to be.
A title card appears: “Ilsabard: The Broken Throne”
The party approaches down the hallway, and she takes notice of them. The soft look on her face hardens before the visor on her winged helm drops. Rising from the throne, her low voice booms in the silence:
“Knowing what threatens this realm, you would bare your fangs at me?” She draws her blade, her shield, and raising on the tips of her toes, she floats down to meet her would be combatants on the grand, open floor. “You fail to understand: this realm is my burden.” The carvings upon her armor glitter with stardust, as if awakening from a deep slumber. The party readies their weapons. “Everyone on this star is mine to protect!”
Uthengentle: The party descends a spiral staircase into darkness, their only light dimly lit lamps along the walls. There is a distant, rhythmic clank! noise coming from below them, and it only grows louder the further down they take the stairs. It is almost too loud by the time they reach the bottom. There is a low rumbling- whether it is a mountain settling or a voice murmuring is unclear. The room is completely dark- save for the low orange-red glow of a forge, and a massive figure in front of it, swinging a hammer upon a tall forge. The hammer he wields is only a hammer on one side- on the other, there is an axe head sharp enough to carve a shadow in twain. In between swings of the hammer, the figure is mumbling- it is the rumbling that was heard before.
“It’s all broken. Too broken. I cannot fix it. Not as it is.”
A title card appears: “Ilsabard: The Duskfallen Forge”
He swings his hammer up for another strike when he pauses, slowly turning to look over his shoulder at the party. His eyes glow like coals in a fire.
“I cannot fix the world…but I can rebuild it. I can make it better. I can stop this senseless cycle. The pointless suffering.” He lets the long handle of his hammer axe rest upon his shoulders as he stands. He is as tall as Titan and twice as stalwart as he looks down on the party. “And you would stop my divine work?” He lets out a chuckle that rattles the room. The party draws their weapons. “Then I will ground you into the foundation of my new realm!”
Headcanon that pearl treats red stone like (insert powder candy of your choice)
and red stone is highly poisonous. So like everyone else is in full ppe and pearl’s like
Fr, she will gobble that shit down like Kool aid
gem has definitely been a bystander when Pearl fighting of the watchers. She was probably sitting there like
Yeah
She just sees Pearl murder beings she thought were unkillable...
After a while she just... didn't care
Death like that doesn't matter after some time
i’d like you to consider:
Did double life Pearl manage to find a way to somewhat bind Tilly to her?
if so, please consider: Tilly’s collar being the string she got from Pearl’s binding(think: red string of fate as seen in basically all the double life fanart) , and (you’ve referenced Pearl being part-fungus in both server error and eclipse, but it’s possible it’s just a hermit thing…) pearls spore vines woven together.
Actually
This is a concept I've been looking to explore
Short answer
The universe treats Tilly as Doubles Gem
Longer Answer?
Sooo
Basically in every Pearl's body is a kinda internal code
Basically
Every Pearl will either have a Gem, or they will make a Gem of their own
This process is called the Shiny Besties Protocol by some
However when there is no Gem to speak of is where it changes
If a Pearl has no Gem but they still need to do the protocol, the secondary protocol activates.
This secondary code is called Crystal Cavern
Where the Pearl will asign something as their Gem. This is to help keep them grounded, as that's a factor Gems typically play into their eternal relationship
For Double Life, Double made Tilly her Gem effectively.
This is about the same for all other Pearl's with Gems aswell
And yes, Fungus is strictly a hermit thing. Closest being her sister and cam account Moo, who's a Mooshroom. But it's more so just a Hermit thing
Thanks for asking, i love answering questions so ask away!
I always find it funny that the weird propaganda stuff from when doc declared independence from the king last season might have been backed up.
because remember
doc has a phd in political science, with a focus in healthcare.
Yeah probably...
Also fun Fact semi related to this...
Pearls main reason for revolting against the king was that she's a anarchist to a degree...
Everything else was more like a blanket reason why
stupid but you said somewhere that pearl was never really taught math because the farlands doesn’t follow much logic besides “this thing can and will murder you” but that brings up the important question:
WAS SHE ILLITERATE (like she obviously isn’t now, but like, when she met gem and all that)
Lol...
Yes
She was illiterate and still doesn't know mcuh math or writing bit its definitely more then before XD
So yeah.. she was a illiterate little fungus
so you know in evo, the watchers gave each member their own dragon fight?
hc in ER, the entirety of pearls fight she was just, rapidly cussing out the watchers, half in farlander (she ran out of curse words) Like
*gets dragon breath-ed* WAS THAT FUN FOR YOU YOU SONS OF BITCHES
*realizes that the watchers are making each of them fight their own dragon* FUCK YOU SHITTY BITCHES! GO TO HELL WITH YOUR MEDDLING! FUCK OFF! OF COURSE YOU MOTHERFUCKERS WOULD DO THIS SHIT! *continues cussing them out in farlander because she ran out of English curses*
(I headcanon that farlander language is VERY colorful. Like very.)
(Oh yeah, Farlanders have a natural distain for alot... they are VERY colorful to the point people can tell it was a... very bad swear even if they don't understand the words)
But yeah she definitely was cussing out the watchers, she would kill that dragon and keep insulting them...
At least till she found out Grian didn't come back
