Jinx needed to let loose some of her built up energy. she was getting to riled up about stuff and Connor canceled paintball that week for some stakeout thing. she needed some excitement. her perch allowed her a pretty great view of the station -- but it wasn’t enough. she wanted something thrilling. she wanted to feel a rush that made her heart race and the tingling in her stomach to stop.
it was bad luck that let her eyes land on him. the replacement sent by cyberlife as Connor described him before. but now she called him victim friend. her grin could rival the Cheshire cat as she watched him move so unknowingly into the best position for her to strike. an X only she could see marking the spot as he continued doing what ever cops did while not out on patrol. there. with an unfortunate step from him she pounced, dropping down with a battle cry as she tackled Chase from above.

“ you…don’t…? ” mike blinked, perplexed. so will didn’t like jennifer OR hannah– the two girls who seemed to LOVE to shower him with attention these days. mike had thought that maybe it was finally giving will the push he needed, but to hear that it was having the OPPOSITE affect? well– mike hadn’t been expecting that.
“ why…don’t you? ” he knew that it was none of his business, but the question was out before he could stop himself. “ two of the cutest girls in school like you and you don’t like EITHER of them? ” mike knew he shouldn’t be pushing, but he couldn’t help himself. “ does…that mean that you like someone ELSE then, or…? ”
