So… I’m fine with waiting but I would love to see the Prism Au Amy meeting with Shadow. Both are in the void and Shadow stays silent until he tells her what happened to their home. I don’t see Shadow as hostile to Amy as Sonic tbh plus I would love to see Shadow at least talk instead of fighting to get answers.
Shadow expected to see Sonic in the void, so when he saw Amy he was stunned. Amy messed up THIS badly? He must be in some sort of coma.
Amy and Shadow stare at each other silently for a moment until Amy speaks up "Shadow..? What are you doing here?"
Shadow sighs. "I've been stuck here for a while now."
Amy is filled with dread "Shadow, how are we gonna get home?"
Shadow looks away. He takes a sharp breath "look, I have no easy way of putting this.. but home is gone."
"What...?" Amy feels ill. She feels her entire body sink to her feet, her heart pounding in her ears.
Shadow closes his eyes, not daring look her in the eyes "when you hit the paradox prism, you shattered our world. Home doesn't exist anymore."
Amy points to herself "b-because of..me?" she starts breathing heavily, she clutches her arms and curls up. "oh chaos... what have I done?" she bursts into silent sobs. Shadow isn't sure what to do. He isn't used to playing this role. Amy springs into his arms and squeezes him, heaving sobs into his shoulder. Shadow freezes in her hold, processing. His movements stutter but he finally returns her embrace. He isn't good with hugs, and would normally never let anyone do this, but this is a special occasion. Hearing Amy cry is enough to bring tears to his own eyes.
He wonders what Sonic would do.
"Amy.. let's fix this."
"Sh-Shadow?"
"Let's gather the shards and piece our world back together."
"But.. when I touch them, I'm taken to another world." Amy pulls away from the hug and wipes her tears. Shadow finally meets her gaze "We'll find a way. If Sonic can do it, so can we."
"You're right. Thanks, Shadow."
