Fileupload mit Primefaces Encodierungsproblem

Beim hochladen von Dokumenten wollte ich den Namen der Datei in der View darstellen. Mein Problem war, dass der Dateiname nicht richtig encodiert wurde.

Einsatz:

Primefaces

Multi-file upload

Wird im Bean das das File über den event parameter engegeben genommen, kann es  sein dass der Name nicht wie gewünscht encodiert ist.

Encodiert nicht wie gewünscht:

encodedFilename = new String(filename.getBytes("ISO-8859-1"), "UTF-8");

Richtige Lösung für mich:

encodedFilename = new String(filename.getBytes(Charset.defaultCharset()), "UTF-8");
