yes! hello! this is not an april fool's joke i promise! i've got the story out now and it's here! i have a small stockpile and now a planned schedule for it!

it is official! i've started working on Armada of Primespark! it is a work in progress! first chapter is being started on, but dont count on me publishing it for a while.
i want to get a stockpile on these chapters while i work on everything else.
either way, you will soon see Armada and Soundblaster in action in the near-ish future!
i've also changed how i wanted the fic by the by, it will now mostly consist of Outsider PoV chapters! aka, people looking on from Soundblaster and Armada's shenanigans, including their own cassettes and minicons! i just think it'll be more fun that way. we WILL get a few rare chapters where we're in armada or soundblaster's pov, but those will be few and inbetween.
first chapter is, as seen, frenzy's point of view. she's going to be going through it as we reunite the whole cassette family.
oh! and ive made rumble a femme in this fic, let soundblaster have twin girls and be a girl dad here. i was undecided about it, but majority vote won (aka, two outta three of my friend group said femme and i agreed) and we got TWIN FEMME CASSETTES!

The Predacon clone now growing in the base’s main laboratory was barely the size of a rock, but it would grow. Once Shockwave completed a hyper-acceleration serum, it would age and grow much faster than normal.
Unfortunately, the serum still wasn’t perfect, and Shockwave didn’t even have the materials needed to try to perfect it. So it wouldn’t grow as quickly as Shockwave wanted.

well, i haven't made a schedule for EACH one of my works yet. there's too many to try, but i'm still trying my best to work on them and get them out in an organized manner
the only reason primespark and shining have a set schedule is because i got hyperfixated on each story and stockpiled the chapters until i couldn't anymore and firmly told myself to update them on a schedule. it helped at the fact they weren't published yet? and i kept working on them?
its harder to do with the other stories since they're already published and my attention kept going back and forth and back and forth.
TFP: UO especially since the chapters are SO LONG and um, i dont have a set story for it-- in the sense that i have to write both the REACTION and the... react scene? I BASICALLY WING IT WITH A BASIC OUTLINE.
small update tho; UO is at 6.6k words now! and i'll be updating as soon as it crosses 10k bc apparently that's the minimal word count ive set upon myself for it.
reaction fics are hard to write, especially when you're making the aus yourself XD

i DID say i'd have established relationships for Primespark, if only to make things easier for myself. i wouldn't know how to get both UltraJack together WITH armada or WaveWave WITH soundblaster. it'll be easier if both were already conjunxes and were (unknowingly) willing to gain a third conjunx.

eheheheh, it just made sense at the time of writing to have there be two types of cassette carriers. making them a subspecies was the natural thing to do ig? it just kept bugging me on how TFP soundwave had laserbeak attached to his frame externally instead of internally. and knowing what happened with ES soundwave with rumble, i figured that it would make sense to make them subspecies and have a reason as to why internal carriers are p much a dying subspecies. too dangerous to keep being an internal carrier, etc. etc.
i wont get indepth of the surgery right now (mostly because i'm still figuring it out ashdiauhsdasid) but it's a delicate procedure and very expensive.
the only reason soundwave could afford it as partially bc he essentially handed himself over to megatron and whoever megatron's owner was during the time. soundwave became a proper and popular gladiator once he was a full on external carrier. it was an investment and such.
AHAHAH yeah that- i just- i couldn't help myself. shockwave takes in details okay, and he would compare the details of information he knows to information he doesn't know. and if he notices the waist size of certain mechs- well, only he and soundwave know about that tidbit ashdpaododh
ehehe you'll see. chapter 10 is soundblaster's pov and i've written things for that :)
not including the finials on his helm, soundwave is about chin height to shockwave. i cant remember how tall shockwave is compared to TFP soundwave but i'll say that soundblaster is shorter than them both because why not.
the cassettes though, they're roughly the same size as humans- same as ES and all that. and the minicons! though ofc they're inches taller than the minicons, rumble and frenzy are anyway. luxwing and razorclaw are big mechanimals and etc.
... soundblaster is a very stressed mech underneath the stoicism and responsibility. he had half-formed plans and a desperation to fight against shit. escape was never an option, because where could they escape to on the dead cybertron??
yes, yes he did have a spark attack. he scolded them the moment he could afterwards.
razorclaw is best cyber panther, we all know this. she sneaks, she roars, she gets behind mechs without a sound. love her.

unfortunately nothing in the medkit will truly cure Rumble. she needs professional help instead of a simple medkit.

yes! i made rumble a ghost in Earthspark, she witnessed EVERYTHING that happened to ES Soundwave, Frenzy, Ravage and Lazerbeak. she was tethered to her family, she mostly stuck around frenzy and soundwave, and what she saw after she died...
