Hyper-Calvinist, Regular, dare I say, Hardshell Punk, meaning, God has already decided who and what is and isn't punk, and there is nothing you can do, not even if you buy all of the right clothes and listen to all of the right music, that can interfere with His will. We can never say who the true punks are, they are scattered across all nations and peoples.
Coming to my church is Punk.

I pass this on my commute to and from work all the time. While this style of Christianity is not my cup of tea, I nevertheless find it somewhat fascinating, i.e. the lack of musical instruments and wildly conservative belief system.

Primitive Baptist beliefs differ from most Christian churches on the doctrines of limited atonement and total depravity. Learn other Primitive Baptist beliefs.
As the holiday season began this year, I was prepared for the standard stuff, but instead, I have faced devastating tragedies and loss. But you know what? This is isn't about me. This is about God, and what God can do, and God brings healing and peace and comfort, and that is what we need right now. And forgiveness. It's going to be hard to forgive some of the things that have happened, but I know that we need to forgive the man who made a poor choice while driving, we need to forgive that lost boy who took his own life, we need to forgive his father for his cruelty and lies, we need to forgive that boy who hurt that girl, and we need to forgive ourselves, because although we are nothing but weak and vile sinners, we are loved with an everlasting love and we are drawn with loving-kindness to a King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We must remember that we only know how to love because He first loved us, that nothing can ever separate us from that all-encompassing love, and that love is what allows us to forgive. Forgiveness is a step that we need to take in order to heal, and that is a step that I'm going to have to take on Saturday. It won't be easy, but it's not about me or what's easy for me, it's about what God wants for us, His precious children. So from here on out, I will face this storm head on, because I know that I have faith in the Great Physician, and my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness. Poor, weak, and worthless though I am, I have a rich almighty friend. Jesus the Savior is His name; He freely loves and without end.
He was faithful in all his houses.

The Wilson Daily Times was an afternoon paper in my day. It was lying in the driveway when I arrived home from school, and I could read it first if I put it back like it was — pages squared and neatly folded. (Even today, I shudder at a sloppy newspaper, flipped inside out and pages sprawling.) The Daily Times‘ roots are in Zion’s Landmark, a semi-monthly newsletter begun in 1867 by Pleasant…

Alright guys, I am going to start a new thing. I have a pamphlet about what Primitive Baptists believe. It is in a Q&A set-up. I will post a Q&A a day. I will make a tab specifically for this on my blog (Primitive Baptist Beliefs). There are 30 questions, so this will last for 30 days. :)
