STOP ME IF you heard this one: Once Upon a Time, there was a prince and his was a life of constant frustrations, wondering what he’d done to deserve to embark on such a strange quest to rescue a princess . . .
Oh, you haven’t? Well, dear friend, you’re about to.
Because when Prince Kevin, son of the Moon King, second heir to Han Do Province’s throne, is tasked with a rite of passage—rescuing a princess from the highest room in the tallest tower—he seizes the chance to seek the adventure he so desperately yearns for. Accompanied by his best friend, who’s a rather proud mage, and a bard with questionable talent, he embarks on a journey across the land to prove himself a real hero.
Thing is, between a stoic knight secretly tailing him, a rival prince who’s obviously evil but too polite for his own good, a cursed man-dragon, and a plethora of eccentric characters, Prince Kevin quickly realizes he’s on a convoluted, frustrating, and absurd adventure to win a lady’s heart.
