I'm betting money, and I might be wrong. It will be revealed that Lestat actually cared about antoinette, and he treated her quite well.

The characters based on a male in the books and Lestat quite loved him

Plausible.

That always interests me because Lestat is essentially poly at this stage… he was still with Louis at the time and Lestat maintains partnerships and compartmentalizing them as “I get this thing from this person and I get that thing from another person…” so fascinating that the same people who can accept this with Lestat, can’t fathom accepting such a thing IRL 😅

My perception of Louis is that they have framed much of their life and self worth on becoming the Prince consort instead of focusing on being companion enough for themselves.

My sincerest wish for Lestat is to be with someone who loves Lestat for Lestat and not just for his impending Prince title. Only then will he find someone worthy of being his consort. Whether that’s Armand, Louis or someone completely new like Rowan Mayfair.

I really appreciate your commitment to Lestat’s happiness, anon.

Yeah, that’s a really good point. I have to be perfectly honest, Gabriella is the game changing foil… see how unbothered she is by Louis’ presence? But remember: Even when Gabriella was off doing her own thing, Lestat always pined for her…. she brings out sides of him that I have never seen before. And the moment Lestat felt most vulnerable? She was the one he went to. I don’t see that changing regardless of the status of Lestat and Louis’ relationship; Gabriella is his family, his fledgling, his mother.

As for that Gabriella and Daniel situation? I am DEFINITELY side eyeing with amusement lol

Following the ongoing observation, a small inconsistency in the chronicles remains...

Lestat currently resides at the château. Marius is reportedly available to guard little Claudia when needed and when Lestat and Louis are not at court. Yet Claudia has crossed realms with Louis and taken temporary refuge alongside Maharet and the great family.

Curious how the movements of the characters sometimes raise more questions than the story itself. 🦇🔎
