Oh man, it’s been so long since I’ve wrote about the BMP princes!!
Prince Roberto in Quarantine Headcanons
I think it’s a given that we know that Roberto is definitely not someone who finds it easy to sit still and be indoors all the time
But I trust in his sense of responsibility to his people to follow the rules of the quarantine
Frankly I think Alberto would be delighted in the fact that Roberto really can’t escape outside of the palace
But this makes Roberto more creative with his hiding spots
There’s likely hundreds of rooms in the palace, so Roberto takes it upon himself to go room hopping every day
And lucky Alberto is the one that has to track him down each and every time
I also can see him FaceTiming the other princes and complaining about how Alberto is stalking him
“Ed, I can’t stand it anymore!! Al’s just like this overbearing mother-in-law that’s impossible to escape from!!”
Roberto sighs dramatically, complaining to one of his oldest friends.
Edward only chuckles in response. “Perhaps it would just be easier for you to perform whatever duties are assigned to you for the day, Prince Roberto. Our jobs and duties are not paused, even when the rest of the country seems to be at a standstill.”
“Must you always be the voice of reason, Ed?” Roberto pouts.
The telltale sounds of footsteps approaching has Roberto panicking as the screen starts shaking. “Shoot, I think he found me again…! Ed, if I don’t see you ever again, know that I-ACK!”
“Prince Roberto. Pray tell, what is it that you’re up to now?”
Roberto gulps as he ends the call, turning to face his worst nightmare.
We all know Alberto has those Roberto-spidey-senses so it’s pretty much impossible for Roberto to manage to hide away for long
But Alberto cares about Roberto and his wellbeing, so Alberto will be sure to pretend that he can’t find him, just to give Roberto some time to himself
Because as a prince and having such a big crisis in his country, it has to be emotionally and mentally taxing
Alberto will leave a cart with pastries and tea outside whichever room Roberto is in and leave him to himself
Of course, it’s back to the cat and mouse game again the very next day!
