I've been having a hard time finding enough time for my doodle diary comics these days, so this is me finally catching up with the documentation of my cactus adventures. (I've had my little friend for about 1.5 months now, actually. )
Have you eaten cactus? In Mexico, I saw them mostly in cooked dishes but my favorite way to eat it was diced up raw in a salad (it's a bit slimy inside, kinda like ladies' fingers). 🌵💕
I wonder how many... years it'll take until I can (safely) cut off some ears off my buddy for my lunch. 😅
