A Moment's Peace (Lyon-Innes)
Running away from Caer Pelyn had been a bad idea however he was sure the residents knew who he was and therefore hated him. All those glares and mutters couldn't be a coincidence and even if they didn't know...well it proved they were rather hostile to strangers. Getting out of there was definitely for the best but now he had landed himself back where he had started. Confused, lost, supply-less, and homeless. Maybe the hateful stares would have been worth the security.
Right now however he couldn't really complain. He had passed through a market, made a bit of a distraction with a phantom, and had come away with a bread, a couple of apples and even some cake, though he had picked that up quite by accident. He sat a short while away from the village now, working out what to do with his spoils. The sun was shining, the area was calm and sleepy. Lyon stowed away the bread and cake, he had eaten the apples, and wondered whether it was time for a rest. He curled up between two large tree roots, not intending to fall asleep, but the calmness proved quite irresistible.
