I'm thinking about the other female characters who might offer maternal wisdom and the only one I can think of is the healer who helps you after the fainting spell/Atses' Heart incident 👀😅 So I suppose not. But I mean, if you're fine with politically motivated and possibly stab-you-in-the-back maternal figures, there's always Sovereign Amera and Princess Lamahu 😆

heyy, I haven't seen this question. Did Erlan ever love Lamahu? Or at least there was some affection or respect? I think you mentioned once that the breaking off of the engagement was the final straw because he felt like he was being denied something else that "belonged" to him, I always thought he was referring to Ishari

This is a bit complicated because once, Erlan wasn't as ruthless as the man that we see in the game. He did love Lamahu, whether that love stemmed from the fact it was part infatuation, part desire to control Ishari and a part of him actually loving her is something up for debate. I like to think that he loved her at one point but his ambition got in the way of things - Lamahu also at some point after the war began realised that Erlan's love for her was flawed because he obviously didn't respect her beliefs of the Ancient Ones to respect Salyra's advice to break off the betrothal (which to Lamahu was an order from the deities she worshipped). So yes, he loved her in his own way.

Recently started to play, fell very much in love with it all. One thing made me curious: if you approach the princess 'nervously', she makes a comment about MC being 'declawed' and implies she knew MC as a child. But what did she mean by that exactly? Is it something plot-related or is that MC, regardless of current personality, was a bit of a rascal hellion in need of a kid's leash as a child?

She knew the MC as a wee child and remembers the MC being very attached to Salyra's side. The MC was a very well-behaved child while they were with Salyra 😅

Are we talking about Lamahu and Virion? Because I think it makes perfect sense for damaged MC's who had poor parents to seek comfort in the arms of older, but unattainable characters 😂😂

Its funny I originally thought that maybe the Princess of the Ishari was exaggerating things out of spite toward Salrya and the bad blood between them. And then after meeting Danzor, couldn't deny she was more right about how she described Danzor than Salrya was describing him.

Lamahu is bitter about Salyra's past actions, but she's quite direct and rarely minces her words about how she sees people 😂 She's never approved of Salyra's taste in men and that opinion still holds true up to the current point in the game.

I was ready to hear out Salyra about her reasons for not seeing MC for two decades.... but she just have to go and went thru MC's stuff behind her back 💀... God damn it Salyra why did you think that was a good idea?! Her reasons for starting a family - that I can understand better but now I feel like I can't trust her with her doing stuff like these and the half truths. MC is an adult now, she doesn't need protecting anymore, she can handle herself and I hope Salyra will soon see that.

Buuut Irus announcing his relationship with the MC to everyone tho 🥰 I thought Princess Lamahu was gonna forced him to marry her for the alliance (thank goodness she didn't) - btch you tried 👀

Salyra seems to make a lot of players go in with the best of intentions only to change their minds 😂 She remembers the MC as a child and a part of her can't look past the child the MC used to be since she wasn't there to see the MC become an adult.

I can't promise that Salyra becomes better at understanding the MC - it will take a bit more time and Chapter 7 will be one of those chapters where her behaviour is pretty much the same as it was in previous chapters. Depending on how you play your relationship and character, Salyra will eventually come to accept that the MC is capable on their own.

Irus is smitten with the MC at this point and he'd never marry for political reasons unless it was to the MC 😂That said, Irus was eager to tell everyone about his relationship with the MC but unfortunately there was no other time than when dealing with Lamahu.

So if their positions were reversed how Irus react to the mc accepting the marriage proposal for the alliance?

He'd tell the MC not to go through with an alliance and that he'd rather lose an alliance with Ishari than see the MC go through with a political marriage.
