Presenting.... Jemstar! Musical Mistress of Magic! I've been mulling about making this custom doll for @garrett_sander as a thanks for him picking up the She Ra dolls for me for like a year. I figured I would have it done by the next toy fair we went to, but 2020 happened and the project has been basically in a coma. But I knew when I heard he was leaving Australia I fast tracked this project like crazy and had to have her finished in a few days. She's Jem reimagined as an 80s She Ra friend done using the She Ra head that Garrett and Darren worked on. For a quirky crossover doll I really put a lot more effort into the design than I probably should have. I knew I wanted her recogniseably Jem but I upped the pink in her outfit to contrast with her hair, turned her belt into a She Ra adjacent skirt and played up the star motif.
