What would Emmeline's elective subjects be?

Originally I had Emmeline’s elective subjects as Muggle Studies and Arithmancy. I didn’t want to have her in Care of Magical Creatures because I thought there might be too much overlap with the main plot, and I always strive to expand the story where I can.

But as I’ve been writing, I realize how important Care of Magical Creatures would be to Emmeline, since it was her mother’s favorite subject. I might adjust the plot to account for that, but she will definitely still be taking Muggle Studies.

Arithmancy has too much math anyway, haha.

Are Lily and Clara your only HP OCs?

oh goodness me no, they’re definitely two of my most prominent HP ocs but they’re definitely not the only ones. HP was the first fandom I ever wrote for, and I made a  l o t  of ocs for it before I even made a tumblr so there’s quite a few that I have that I’ve never (and probably will never) posted or talked about. Namely: Alicia, Athea, Callie, Roza and more recently (who I actually might post because I kinda adore her) Nyx. Also, funny story my teen wolf oc Elsa originally started off as a hp oc, it’s strange how things turn out.

I also have fantastic beasts ocs: Maggie who I’ve posted quite a bit about you can find her here and Lucille who I got halfway through an intro post for then lost muse.

I cannot stress how much I am always willing and more than happy to talk about any of my hp characters!

let’s talk a little about yuki’s family since i’ve fleshed them out more with the help of the amazing @moirei. sokka and suki have two nonbender kids, kennah and karik. kennah, as mentioned here, is also a kyoshi warrior and stepped down as leader when sokka passed and eventually moved to kyoshi island alongside her mother. karik becomes chief of the southern water tribe after his father’s death, which plays into s2 plot of unalaq thinking the southern water tribe is under terrible leadership and being represented by a nonbender. 

yuki and karik didn’t see much of each after sokka’s death because karik had duties to uphold and yuki lived in republic city living her own life. when they reunite in s2, yuki is v protective of her uncle and defends his positions as chief as well as being a nonbender, which causes a rift between her and korra. korra is extremely frustrated trying to help both sides and remain semi-neutral, whereas yuki is not and while she doesn’t argue with korra about that on purpose, their emotions/anger/frustration do get the best of them. ( also korra is with mako and their relationship was rocky so that fuels their emotions ). it’s just a tough time for everyone, especially nonbenders bc there’s only so much they can do, but they still try so it’s the thought that counts.

yuki also has an older brother now. kanan is an earthbender ( maybe metalbender as well ) and is a part of the white lotus with orders to protect tenzin and his family. they’re the last airbenders so ofc they need to have some form of protection to ensure the culture doesn’t die out completely. kanan’s bending abilities comes from his father’s side. earthbending isn’t inherited the same as air or fire, so when he possessed the skills, the entire family was surprised but proud. he takes care of yuki in republic city when kennah moves to kyoshi island and he’s a very uptight and strict kind of guy who just wants to help people. good heart and good intentions, but can have a stick up his ass.

the whole family doesn’t come back together until season 3 for rEaSoNs except the dad bc he’s dead and i never had any ideas for him so :/

Oof, “main” OC’s is a tough question. I’m actively working on four OC’s.

Emmeline Marsh for Harry Potter (Provenance)

Rebecca Whalen for Criminal Minds (Broken Edges)

There are other OC’s I still think about frequently, or have established, like Sadie or Thea. But at the moment, these are the four I’m working on!

Would you write a Harry Potter oc again in the future?

I think I would! Melanie started out waaaaaaaay back in the day as a Harry Potter OC for an rp group but then I revamped her but, boy, do I miss writing in the Harry Potter universe. I mean, I still have Draco/Theo to put me there but I do still have some stories I want to write in that universe that a Draco/Theo fic can’t be used for.

If I do, I think I’d make an OC for Oliver Wood. As much as I love the pairing of Katie and Oliver, I would like to try my hand at writing an OC fic for him. He has so much potential!

What would Alyssa's Targaryen name be if she had one?

Emphasize on the if. Aerea, after Aerae Targaryen, one of these sisters of King Jaehaerys I. Jon would have been named Jaehaerys, not Aegon because I, unlike DnD, actually acknowledge Elia Martell and her children (sorry very very bitter about the show’s treatment of Dorne).

Who will be the other characters in Bloodlines?

i’m gonna be completely honest, i don’t see bloodlines being written properly any time soon. i’ve spent years writing several stories at once and have never got anywhere with any of them, that’s why i made the decision to focus on delirium. v has been in my life for 11 years now and still hasn’t truly had her day in terms of an original story… she can wait a bit longer.

THAT BEING SAID. I’ve got all the time in the world to talk about her and make edits for her even though literally me and ally are the only two who love her haha. so we’ve met venus, faith and arabella. the girls also have two brothers, luca and elio. their mother is called reina, and their father is arlo. there’s also v’s sire, damien. i’m just gonna talk about the two others in this ask for now, but if you have any more questions let me know!! (and thank you for this question!) 

So, first up is alicia trixie greg, who belongs to @chlobenet. ali and v are actually how me and ally met back in 2008… lmao. alicia is the first human being on the planet that v has truly cared for like family. ali & v are total platonic soulmates. when v meets ali she is in a #badplace and doesn’t give a shit about anyone or anything and is on a like fifty-nine year killing spree. ali changes all that and brings back the good side of v that has been lost for so long. ali is a witch, like venus used to be. alicia is sweetness and light and everything that’s good in the world, and only wants to do good with her magic and that’s what v admires most about her best friend, because when she was a witch v couldn’t resist the dark pull magic has, but ali doesn’t even seem to feel one speck of it’s allure and is just so sure of herself in that respect whereas v has spent a thousand years in turmoil about whether she’s good or evil. I legit live for the thought of later on in life, v waltzing into ali’s family home that she shares with her husband josh, and their two kids lily and violet, and being like “honey, I’m home!” there are constant “get off my woman, leyton” jokes at josh’s expense too. 

ok so next up is noah harris, the cute bartender v meets at the start of bloodlines. the first man to actually hold v’s attention for longer than like… a few hours, in a very long time. she warns him straight off the bat that he should run for the hills because she’s nothing but trouble but does he listen? uh, no, that would be boring. v agrees to turn him, and it kinda backfires when the sweet, caring, man sh eloves disappears before her very eyes and vampire noah is a bit of a serial killer blood-fiend kinda vampire and his bad behaviour threatens to pull v back to that side of life that alicia saved her from. so… yeah, that’s v’s two favourite people outside of her blood-related family.
