Another bee-inspired dress. This time I coloured the background of the skirt solid yellow and drew black ripples on it, instead of alternating ripples of yellow and black ink, and I threw in some hexagons so it wouldn’t just look like bullseyes, which is the effect that a two-tone strong light-dark contrast tends to have.

Welcome to my newest series: Fall Essentials! I'll go through the basics like cozy sweaters and boots, as well as trends like pastel coats, coated denim, plum/wine shades and more!
To begin our fall shopping, I thought I'd start with one of my favorite trends: collars, peter pan collars, printed collars... I love it all! You might remember this outfit post featuring a Madewell top, which started my obsession. Now, it looks like they are sticking around for fall and I'll probably end the season with more in my closet.
