Autumn moody days... Days are getting darker and colder so quick... Last leaves falling leaving naked branches But we are ready to endure the bare and cold The stillness... As I spend more time indoors I am also more focused into completing works in progress. I have some friends visiting later this week so will make a fun break. I hope weather shows some mercy as temperatures are dropping drastically. There are some bad habits I need to change (starting with my sleep scheduled) and this time I will not wait to new year for the good resolutions. Fifty shades of Autumn..🍂🍁 Spending today indoors... I think I may have a little organization problem. I start a new song and video before finishing the previous, I am simply carried away by creativity and I find myself eorking in 3 different songs at the same time when I should focus to finish one. This is my jouhikko...I love to layer its rustic sound in some of my folk songs (staccattos, plucked, rhythms) but among all my instruments it is the one I have not tamed... He is like a wild stallion (horsehair strings by the way). It is a Finn instrument. My friend Gerry Henkel (my kantele maker) once told me one day it would "sing" for me. Maybe I have not given it the time it needed so but will give it more practise. Pd. I am happy. I'm having some friends visiting.
