This morning I'm trying out a new material, as my lovely fiancé has TONS of extra scraps from his woodworking. I'm playing around with attempting this new process that I have been doing on paper, but on canvas AND wood. So far I am learning how the wood soaks up the paint fast, requiring extra layers of paint for each mark, which in themselves are a unique layer. Lots of patience needed! But I'm liking how it's coming out so far.
