The Ruins had been a tricky place to become accustomed to. Puzzles were regular obstacles and often progress, if one did not already know the answers, was slow. However, the Ruins had been a rather linear maze unlike Koi’s streets and canals whose pathways could easily confuse and confound the new and unfamiliar. 

Holding a rather poorly drawn map, this had been acquired from one of her well-meaning but inept map-making kids, in one hand, Toriel glanced at the stretching streets and buildings. “Oh dear.” Deciding that it would be better to not continue on crayon-based sketches, Toriel approached one of the few people in her path. “Pardon me, dear, but if you could please direct me to Queen Anne’s Flowers it would be very helpful. I have just recently arrived in this city and have found myself quite lost.”

                                     ‘That doesn’t look right...’

Jedediah reached out his hands and gratefully accepted the cat which affectionately charged towards him. In all aspects it was a normal black tabby but something was off,

  ‘How did I accidentally give you another tail? ‘Guess I’ll have to fix that too...’

The blond stood up and began to round the corner towards an exit, the first thing he needed to do was get out of this alleyway and back to his apartment... preferably unnoticed. Although it was a stressful situation, he found himself nuzzling the cats adorable button nose. They are truly heavenly gifts that humans should be humbled to have been given to have as pets. Unfortunately, the blissful moment was short lived as when he looked back up he came face to face with a complete stranger,

“I... I can explain.”

prismamagical Ichijou hated children. True their manipulating was whole a lot easier if you were smart about it but it didn’t change how much hassle dealing with them was. They drooled, pulled his brand suit and made a mess everywhere. And even if there was an exception it’d have some other typical trait that grated him. 

She was squatting there her back facing the door.  Probably looking for for something missing the fact that she was, in fact, very much in the way. Didn’t seem like she noticed him either.

“ ... “

It had been a long day and Ichijou’s patience was wearing a little thin. He grabbed the handle of the door and slammed it against the girl standing in the way in hopes for sending her rolling back. 

“ My, I’m so sorry.... “ 

Tone apologetic his hand covered his mouth in a pretended surprise. Next he reached it towards her, to help her up like he had never done anything.

“ I didn’t notice you at all.... Are you alright? “
