Is there anything that goes into the fact that Mickey apparently seduced his way out of prison?

Hi, sorry for a long wait. We couldn't think of any fics focusing on it :( Maybe we have missed something.

The only mention I could think of is in the beginning of Did I Wish You Here In Front Of Me? where Mickey mentions what he had to do to get out.

Anyone has other ideas?

Hi! First off thanks for this wonderful blog! I find so many wonderful fics because of it. I'm on the hunt for a fic I read not too long ago that I can't seem to find anywhere now 😔. It was season 10 the few days before Ian gets released. Ian and Mickey just wanted to spend as much time together as possible before Ian gets released. It was super fluffy but with a little angst. Hope this was descriptive enough. TIA!

Hii! We're very happy that you found stories that you loved through us, this is the goal <3 Hm, there are a few fics that cover the time right before Ian's release... it's a bit hard to pin down which one is it. I have two suggestions:

grief and high delight

But I can very well imagine that it could be something different. Let us know if it's not it.

Do you know of any good fics of Ian having a depressive episode in prison with Mickey? I’ve been searching for good ones but haven’t had much luck ☹️

We could think of these two fics:

Prison Break - Medication does not sanity make. Ian Gallagher knows this better than most people. Still, he’d sort of hoped to stave off the madness while he was in prison.

i'll rot with all the burnouts in the cell - s9-10: ian has a manic episode while in prison and mickey doesn’t know what to do.

Hey! There are two options with Ian waiting for Mickey - after S5 and after S9. So here are some fics for both options :) And thank you!

Post S5:

The Sun, Chasing the Moon - After one year Ian comes to visit Mickey again and tells him that he will wait for him, seriously this time.

Furlough - Mickey is in prison and Ian is waiting for him. Some circumstances give him a chance to spend 24 hours out of prison.

sideways - Ian attempts to make amends. Mickey tries to stay strong.

Lie if you have to - Mickey gets out of prison after six years. Ian has been waiting for him. Mickey still has a hard time adjusting to being out.

Shackled - Ian tried to move on but not even prison could keep them apart.

Not Just Penpals - What if Ian didn't completely leave Mickey all alone in prison?

Post S9:

Dreaming of a Shitty Apartment - A post 9x06 fic about Ian and Mickey surviving by dreaming and hoping.

when you get there you'll know - Ian gets out of prison 352 days before Mickey does. They do their best to make it through.

golden boy, my world tilts for you alone - Ian is home from prison, but nothing feels right.

Held In Abeyance - After serving his two year sentence with Mickey at his side, Ian is released. He attempts to adjust to life on the outside while Mickey serves his last 14 months with a new cellmate.

Are there any fics where the cartel has come after Mickey or the cartel let's Mickey know they are aware of where he is?

We answered an ask about the cartel before and I couldn't remember any newer fics that focus on it.

Hey do you know any fics of mickey getting his tattoo in prison and the guys there like questioning like who Ian is and making fun of him or something

Hey, I was sure that I saw a story focusing on it before, but maybe I was imagining it. No luck finding anything fitting :(

We can offer you some fics where the tattoo plays a role and maybe you'll be interested in reading compañero, a fic from Damon's POV where he wakes up to Mickey having a moment in their cell and they talk about the people they have outside. No mentiones of the tattoo though :(

Anyone has any ideas?
