Even though this clip is short, show I struggle that black women have when they have been assault or violated by a black man. There is a fight that starts in the mind of a black woman to think about herself and the violence towards her and think about how the justice and prison institution do to people of color. This makes me reflect on Katherine McKittrick’s work, Stay Human, and how there are limited black women geographies are to be safe.
