Smart Cars: Why not take Public Transit Instead
There seems to be such an euphoria for the self-propelled driverless car where the driver can take leisure time instead of struggling through traffic. If I am not mistaken, a user can take leisure time in public transit if it is well funded and actually serves the residents.
Too bad there is unlimited money to maximize the utility of private transit but in most major cities, public transit is never really provided with the equivalent money, resources and the will to make it happen.
