ALICORN VIBES
So...like a unicorn? Or just the horn? I guess I could technically use the horn as a weapon 🤔🤭 (yes that's right, Orion is instantly thinking of the weapon properties lol)

I need more fics where Eliot is drugged and Hardison and Parker take care of him while his guard is down.
It would be such a cute pre-established relationship thing.
I love this trope (and drunken confessions) so much.
Very much inspired my me watching s1e10 of Whitecollar where the normally closed off Neil is emotional with Peter
Leverage for the blorbo/etc asks?
omg ok???
blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most) PARKER LEVERAGE
scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped) ALSO PARKER LEVERAGE
scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave) I don't think there's any underappreciated faves in Leverage? Maybe the lesbian cop in Season four??? lol
glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week) Maggie, probably. I love her. (BRING HER BACK FOR REDEMPTION. WHAT'S SHE DOING???) (obvs she’s not obscure but i love when she pops up)
poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave) I'm kinda fond of Maria actually but she's def not the "poor little meow meow" type lol. She'd hate being called that lmao
horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason) ...........Nate
eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell) also Nate All of the villians should go to superhell. Also Archie probably.
Newscaster Musketeers AU?
1. They work in The Onion (or their universe's equivalent of The Onion)
2. Louis, the city's mayor, thinks it is a serious news network and hence takes everything said by them rather literally.
3. Anne cannot roll her eyes enough at her idiot husband. She looks forward to the 9 p.m Debates with René d'Herblay though
4. Sylvie is the editor-in-chief. She is always flirting with Athos which never fails to make him flustered.
5. Richelieu is the CEO of a rival "serious" news network and is always looking down upon these "lesser" journalists.
6. Porthos has made it his life's mission to prank every colleague in the institution. Sometimes it ends hilariously. Sometimes it ends hilariously but only in hindsight

5. Hmm, this bit has been making me laugh since I wrote it:
Hardison pointed across the table, finger wavering between Quinn and Eliot, but no less indignant for the uncertainty. “Y’all, y’all are nasty. Kill someone then kiss ‘em, how does that not cross any wires at all…”
“Well, generally not in that order,” Quinn demurred.
“Look, it’s all in the past, okay,” Eliot said rapidly. “And it was only a couple of times anyway, so don’t act like it’s a big deal or-”
“Oh, I’m not mad.” Parker blinked. “You’re ours now.”
It was said so simply, so confidently, that everyone fell silent. Hardison relaxed back from his intended retort, and Eliot shrank in his chair a little, a blush rising to his cheeks. Quinn frowned thoughtfully at the lot of them.
“Besides,” Parker went on, “all that practice with lots of people made you really good at sex. So actually, it’s good for us too. Thanks, Quinn.”
“Oh, you’re welcome,” he said easily, even as Hardison and Eliot’s eyes met in a moment of horrified unity.
“Don’t thank him-” they both started to say, but Quinn talked right over them both.
“I’d be happy to help you all practice more, any time,” he told Parker with a smile. She laughed, Eliot instantly tried to catch him in a headlock, and Hardison shouted over their ensuing scuffling.
“Three’s a party, four is a crowd. Hell nah, man, I don’t want any more o’ your freaky hitter knifeplay or whatnot in my life! Parker you better not be smiling at knifeplay-”
13. I prefer writing oneshots! I've found that I tend to operate best through more a couple hours or a day or two of a single concrete idea. I have issues with follow-through for anything too long. I still enjoy them, but there's a much higher chance I'll never finish or I will forget about them for years. However, for reading I do love multichapters a lot. But it really depends on my mood, I love reading oneshots too.

where the road meets the sky by dirty diana The Musketeers Athos & Aramis 4000 words rated teen for @happydaygirlfanfiction in Musketeers Secret Solstice 2021, organised by @privateerstudies
Athos and Aramis take a trip.
*
"Tréville has decided your duty would be best served here." Aramis shrugged, gesturing to the expansive countryside rolling with lush summer greenery. "And mine, as well."
Athos shot him a dry, sideways glance. "I believe your only duty here is to be my nursemaid. Which I do not require."

"Why the hell is there glitter everywhere" + musketeers?
For a moment Athos is sure that he just walked into the wrong house. Surely the home of four grown men cannot possibly be covered in a fine layer of multicolored glitter, of all things. He backs out of the door and checks the number on the wall beside it just to be sure. Blinks a few times. Steps back into the house.
“Why the hell is there glitter everywhere?”
Two heads pop around the corner that leads from the entryway to the dining room - Aramis and d’Artagnan, similarly shaggy, equally covered in glitter, but the first grinning shamelessly and the latter glancing sheepishly at Athos from beneath his bangs. Which are also coated in a fine layer of glitter.
“We have a package thief!” Aramis replies, as if that answers everything, and disappears from sight.
“There was a tutorial on the internet...” d’Artagnan says, shrugging, before he too disappears.
Athos follows warily into the dining room and finds that an even larger pile of glitter is concentrated around several packages and a laptop. Porthos is glancing between the computer screen and a device in his hands that looks suspiciously like an explosive, tinkering with a pair of pliers and a tangle of wires, while Aramis packs glitter into a tube by the fistful. It reminds Athos of college.
“Are we attempting to murder the package thief?” he asks dryly.
“Nah,” Porthos grunts. A furrow appears between his brows as he peers more closely at the wires and simple circuitry. Athos thinks he recognizes a pressure sensor. “Just scare ‘im a little. ‘S why we’ve been testing it out.”
“And covering our whole house in glitter.”
“Well, yes. But he stole your Christmas present, Athos!” d’Artagnan puffs himself up, clearly prepared for an argument over the merits of glitter bombs.
Athos, smart enough to recognize an argument he will not win, sighs. “I believe I’ve seen the video youtube video in question. Wasn’t there also a stink bomb component?”
“We thought that might be a step too far inside the house,” Aramis says.
“Obviously. We’ll test that part out back.”
🪵?
🪵: name a language from each continent you’d like to learn
I looove this question. For the sake of argument, I’m going to do ones I’m not already learning. Also I don’t even know what we consider the 7 continents I’m just, majorly dumb. I guess I exclude Antarctica? Also I feel bad for all of the Islands around them.
north america: Nahuatl, assuming I could do it in a culturally sensitive and respectful way. I love seeing how it’s influenced Spanish and I think it’s important to recognize where certain customs originated.
south america: Quechua, with same stipulations of doing it in respectfully. I really love indigenous/minority languages but I recognize each culture/group has different feelings about outsiders learning their language(s).
europe: Catalan. Teeechnically started it, but I’ve forgotten it all. Finnish too.
asia: Way too many. A professor exposed me to some Farsi/Persian in a class of his I took and I fell in love. I also really like how Thai looks and sounds.
africa: This is also such a big continent how do I chooose. I think Swahli and Zulu both sound really cool. @sharmutinya got me really interested in Razihi.
australia/new zealand/polynesia: Samoan seems really cool, but same rules apply as n/s america and africa. I mean, all of them technically. The only one where native speakers have begged me to learn it is Catalan--my host family said I could come stay again if I learned lmao.
