J: when's the next party to wreak havoc at? it's been exceptionally boring as of late.

LONDON BOUND ➝ HARPEZ.

It was no secret that Dani had felt so uninspired lately. The fact that she had been forcing herself to work on her music was never a good thing. Everyone had been telling her to take a break; that forcing things was never good, but she had never been good at listening to other people. Even those she probably should be listening to, considering they were the professionals here. It didn't matter when she had so much time and only one thing she wanted to do. Well, two things, but once she was done doing Eva; she was thinking of her music all over again. It was a struggle only an artist will understand. It didn't help that she was so dramatic; talking about how her career was over before it even started. Even she knew that wasn't true, but she couldn't exactly help it. Taking a break hadn't been working. Mostly because she hadn't actually taken a break. It was hard to do so when she didn't clear her mind. That didn't seem like a problem right now, though. The whole London thing still seemed very random to her, despite her girlfriend's explanation, but she wasn't going to say no to it. Maybe being in an entirely different country would help her clear her mind. People travel to feel inspired, don't they? There had to be something to help and if it wasn't in here, she would go looking for it. With Eva by her side, because they were super gross like that.

The only downside about going somewhere was the actual traveling. People say it's the journey and not the destination, but she thought it was total bullshit. If she could just zap herself over there, that would be great. Also really fucking cool. She hated everything about flying. The crowds, the waiting, the being stuck in the plane for how ever many hours. It was a necessary evil when she wanted to go new places. One that she could definitely go without. Still, as much as she hated flying, her girlfriend seemed to be much worse. Dani found flying to be annoying, though. Eva had a whole different problem with it. As the two of them waited to actually get on the plane, Dani couldn't help but notice that Eva wasn't as thrilled as she was. Well, about the flying part. They were probably efqually excited about actually going to London. And considering Dani wasn't the least bit thrilled about flying, that really said something. "Babe." She said, taking the other girl by the hand. "Are you okay?" She asked, raising her brow. Considering she was the who sprung this on Dani (not a bad thing, just how it happened), she figured that she would be more enthusiastic right now.

A beer in hand, Lauren is packing up her suitcase, trying to run through some sort of lackadaisically thrown together in her head. A last minute trip to Utah was something she was grateful for. People joining her was a surprise, she’d ultimately posted the invitation as a formality, but was glad that so many people ended up saying yes. In fact, she’d been celebrating with a few beers while packing to help her not feel too on edge about the next morning. It was a long drive and she knew that she was going to have to be able to fit a lot of stuff in her car for everyone - groceries, dog food, etc. 

A noise at the front door interrupted her thoughts - Lo checked her watch quickly and a smile found its way onto her face. Ro’s less than feisty bark rang through the house and she knew it had to be Eva. 

“Ro, baby, no barking,” she called out to him, following the sound to the front door. It was always a wonderful sight to see when the animals greeted a familiar face at the door. Taos and Kenya sat, awaiting their pets and Ro jumped around, unable to contain his puppy joy. “Roosevelt, still,” she chastised, leaning against the wall beside her as she took a swig. Her eyes wandered up to her roommate. “Hey there, gorgeous, how was your night?”
