I really enjoyed the series Merlin, not going to lie I’ve seen it like 5 times. However thinking about how Morgana was treated really irks me and I can’t see myself watching the show again. In one of the episodes, there’s this dude whose like you don’t know what it’s like to be different to Merlin and, Merlin’s like yes I do, and shows his magic to a complete stranger. Then there’s Morgana who was literally going though the same thing though 10 times worse and Merlin just can’t be bothered or show her the same compassion. In the last episode I think he says something like “I blame myself for what you become” and I honestly couldn’t agree more. All Morgana needed was a friend that understood her by her side, then she wouldn’t have been so easily pushed to being evil.

Can we talk about how bullshit Mordred's 'I hope you find the love and compassion that use to fill your heart' line was??

I mean, Mordred, what the fuck?? Did you forget your reunion when she nearly cried from happiness, placing a hand on your cheek with such a big smile on her face?? She spent two years in a pit for a dragon! She cried when Uther died! She looked so depressed in the finale of season four when talking to Arthur, she got so offended when Merlin told her she had no sense of loyalty. She took time out of looking for Arthur to bury Mordred. She was in so much grief about having to kill Morgause.

A what-if episode of Merlin, Where Morgana finds out about Merlin's magic, he and Gaius help her with hers and just be friends with her instead of blindsiding and gaslighting her, Would have been so good
