i hate the sudden uptick of colonizer krypton in media between MAWS and Superman 2025.
Theres something so racist of viewing an immigrant as an invasion. Of them trying to take control and erase their heritage. (Ie. Clark switching from his birth parents message to his adoptive parents because they are "superior" to the colonizers)
He is a refugee, he is an immigrant. Having his bio parents love him doesnt discredit being raised and loved by the kents.
I understand the want of depth in a way of him idolizing his bio father only for him to be evil. But it is just such a harmful rhetoric. But it could easily be anyone else from krypton. Make it one of the ignorant rulers, Zor-El. Someone else.
