I keep thinking about Dain and Cath. How powerful Dain is and no I don’t think he’s venin. I do think that maybe he has two signets and that’s why he’s so powerful. I think maybe his second signet is another classified. Something that plays into the one he already has. I am interested to know more about his mom and if she, like Xaden’s, is alive, but abandoned him. Now onto the Cath portion. He’s always in Dain’s head. That’s what Dain told Violet.

Do you think maybe one of the reasons Dain’s so powerful is because Cath decided that Dain was ready after they first bonded?

Because it’s up to the dragon to decide when the rider is ready. I would like to think that maybe Cath waited, but if he already knew what was coming, maybe he decided to throw caution to the wind and make sure Dain’s as powerful as he needs to be. Dain also said that Cath is constantly channeling into him, or something like that.

Could that be another reason why Dain is so powerful?

Because Cath is making sure of it?

I don’t think Cath is evil either.

I mean he and Dain both were battling the venin in Onyx Storm, so if he were evil, wouldn’t he have figured out a way to kill the ones trying to kill the venin?

Cath is a powerful dragon. The dragons pick the riders they pick for a reason. There’s a reason he’s made Dain as powerful as he has. Dain’s power, or powers, isn’t flashy like the others.

If he does have a second signet, what do you think it is?

Do you think his and Sloane’s powers will react to each other the same way Violet and Xaden’s do?
