No, Ino felt inscure about herself when Sakura was becoming more confident. Ino liked feeling like the older sister looking out for her younger sister. When Sakura became more out-spoken, Ino didn't like that someone couldn't look up to her.

Sakura didn't like feeling like the younger sister. She didn't like feeling like Ino's scared pet. She wanted to be her own person. She wanted to prove to Ino that she can take care of herself and wont cry anymore.

So no, Sasuke wasn't the reason, he was like 5% of the reason why. Sakura wasn't being a bitch and Ino wasn't being two-faced.

THE MAIN PROBLEM WITH YOU AND YOUR LEAGUE WHO THINK THAT SAKURA (OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THIS MATTER) IS USELESS IS THAT YOU’RE BASING YOUR DEFINITION OF WHAT IS NOT USELESS ON VISIBILITY WHICH I TELL YOU IS DOWNRIGHT STUPID. KISHI MIGHT HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FULLY UTILIZE EACH CHARACTER AND SHOWCASE THEIR DEVELOPMENT THROUGHOUT THE SERIES BUT THAT DOESN’T DECREASE THEIR WORTH AS CHARACTERS, MUCH LESS MAKE THEM USELESS.
