So she did care. And it had to take some courage. Sasuke was asked by Orochimaru, and while, yes, Naruto at first did force Jiraiya into training him, Jiraiya had been interested in him the moment he realized who Naruto was. Sakura was virtually nobody - she had no accomplishments, "no talent" (since Kakashi did nothing about it), and yet she was brave enough to ask Tsunade to train her. This alone shows that she was dedicated and that she wanted to be a ninja.

THE MAIN PROBLEM WITH YOU AND YOUR LEAGUE WHO THINK THAT SAKURA (OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THIS MATTER) IS USELESS IS THAT YOU’RE BASING YOUR DEFINITION OF WHAT IS NOT USELESS ON VISIBILITY WHICH I TELL YOU IS DOWNRIGHT STUPID. KISHI MIGHT HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FULLY UTILIZE EACH CHARACTER AND SHOWCASE THEIR DEVELOPMENT THROUGHOUT THE SERIES BUT THAT DOESN’T DECREASE THEIR WORTH AS CHARACTERS, MUCH LESS MAKE THEM USELESS.
