On Midtown.
Legendary for its long lines and infamous for its grumpy staff, the DMV showed me none of its typical charms. “Ahh, the people, places, the sensory input (sensations, feelings).” Often I find myself scouring the scene for the subtle connectedness between experience and expectation.
L*** it when a plan comes together! Sitting here reflecting, the Universe speaks

It can be very…humbling to tell the world just what we think of it even when what we think of it’s not negative or mean or hurtful. When we’re feeling fondness, appreciation, etc. for the World it’s much more pressing that we let it know. That and much more likely the World will even bother listening. The prospect Expressing an opinion, sharing a message such as this message I’m delivering here can be scary.
It’s alright for things to be scary. It doesn’t mean that we should turn back and not go through with it.
Preactions
Isn’t it a trip how quickly you can tell SO much about a song? Often without hearing a full second of a track I can tell if I’m going to enjoy listening to more of it.
There are times when I judge a track one way to find I feel quite different upon hearing more of it, the occasions where I get a chance to see how “on” I’d been, I take, and an overwhelming majority of the time, my initial decision stands.
It IS important that I really take the time to make sure I’m evaluating things fairly and fairly clearly. “How can you be sure you’re evaluating things clearly?” I can’t. However I can arrive at relative certainty by doing pure science, that is a. Experimenting b. Recording the results of my experiments and c. Analyzing the records. Simple. Input from peers can prove quite valuable as well.
Taking this all back a few steps we can see the same principals fractalize (maintain relative shape and proportion, appearance and function). Our initial reactions-preactions let’s call them tend HEAVILY towards the optimum course of action. That is to say, our first thoughts are generally correct or wise. Of course I’m not talking about when you’re taking S.A.T’s or being interrogated or we could come up with enumerable circumstances where initial, instinctual preactions aren’t necessarily going to serve us real well. However the case remains, day to day, the average person, when confronted with a decision to make will do well to follow their first thoughts. The tricky part can be telling which was the first thought, however a little practice goes a long way.
I appreciate this opportunity for us to communicate and may I remind you that your feedback is admired.
Who am I to tell anyone anything? I’m sharing a humble (albeit confident) opinion, not lecturing on the way “things are” though I suppose I might improve on getting that fact across initially.
Also, I feel that there exist a general undervaluing of what it is to be one of us. A conscious and intelligent creature roaming on this incredible aquarium as “Aliens in the Blue Tank.” Man, I gotta go! Please excuse my grammatical and other errors. Tell your mom I said she’s beautiful.
