I know a lot of people like portraying Negan as this super sexy, dominant, kinky “daddy” and I get it, but... I feel like the fandom’s a bit over-saturated with it. Because Negan can absolutely be all of that! I’ve been writing him for three years, believe me I know it’s fun lol. But Negan is also weird, and goofy, and kinda cringey sometimes, and the fact that he is all of these things so confidently is a part of his charm and I think it’s a shame to get rid of or downplay those qualities. It’s all personal taste and nothing wrong with writing what you like, I just personally get tired/bored sometimes of seeing so much focus on him being some perfect kinky sex machine. There’s so much more to his character and I wish there was more love for the other aspects of him too.
