Some AHKJ Lemur Kingdom headcanons with no canon basis:
- The lemur kingdom used to be split into small communities by species like Crowned lemurs, Ringtail lemurs, BEBL lemurs etc
- because of the big number of fossa attacks on each community, the ringtails offered shelter in their community location for the rest of the lemurs to be in
- the community in bigger numbers lead to them being a bigger target but also safer in numbers. The Ringtail Guard, for instance, used to be made up of just ringtails but almost all got eaten
- the ringtails that were left were crowned royals and leaders of the lemurs, which is where we get the first King Julien
- the first community to really join the lemurs in the kingdom was the common one that we see in the bg and the black and white ruffed lemurs like Hector who served in the new version of the Ringtail Guard, who've been loyal to the ringtails since the beginning, then golden bamboo lemurs like Ted or Willie, lastly crowned lemurs like Clover and Grandma Rose
- The BEBL lemurs are still very reclusive and Horst is the only one of his community to join the central kingdom
