I mean, I didn't mean to limit it at pet peeves about kuzupeko if you REALLY wanna get something off your chest
There must be something about Catty Anh that’s fascinating to y’all.
Alright. Below the cut. The list of kuzupeko things that Grinds Anh’s Gears. Warning for negativity and possible r00dness!!!
(and srsly guys. this is just my opinion. i am just one person. take it with a grain of salt.)
1. Peko calling Fuyuhiko “young master” while they’re in a relationship. Please. PLEASE. If there’s anything you ever reconsider, PLEASE MAKE IT THIS. I BEG YOU. Honestly, the rest of the list is mostly My Opinion, but THIS one is just plain wrong. Period. Please do not do this! Like, it’s okay for Peko to struggle with saying Fuyuhiko’s name, because she should! It’s going to take time to undo what she’s learned her whole life. But they shouldn’t be in a relationship if she’s still calling him this. Like, how would you like it if your girlfriend was calling you by a title that essentially means you own her?
2. Fuyuhiko guilt-trips Peko into “getting better.” Hoooooooooooooooooo boy does this annoy me SO MUCH. Aka Fuyuhiko telling Peko something along the lines of, “The things you are doing hurt me! Please think about me before you do anything drastic!” This isn’t heartwarming. This isn’t healing. This isn’t supportive. This is Fuyuhiko putting his own feelings above Peko’s, something he would never try to do when it concerns her healing. Peko’s pain is her own. Do not mix up Fuyuhiko’s feelings with that.
And the following aren’t exactly Kuzupeko things, but I see them in a lot of Kuzupeko fics and they just Don’t Do It For Me.
3. Fuyuhiko’s father is an uncontrollable raging alcoholic. Or something similar. I see this a lot for some reason. Guys, c’mon. This man is the leader of a clan of over 30,000 members. He’s gotta be able to display actual leadership qualities. Which means focus, rationality, discipline, and accountability. There’s a reason why Fuyuhiko doesn’t make a good yakuza leader, not just because he has a caring heart, but because he’s too emotional. He’s reckless! He lets his emotions get the best of him during critical moments and he doesn’t think about the consequences for his actions! To me, it doesn’t make sense that Fuyuhiko’s father would display the same traits as his son when he’s clearly a very capable leader.
4. Peko got the shit beat out of her as part of her “training.” I see this a lot too. Okay, so. People seem to forget that Peko actually thinks being a tool is a good thing. She states it very strongly and very succinctly. She’s super proud of it. This isn’t a girl who’s saying these things because she’s afraid of the consequences if she says otherwise. This is a girl who honestly believes she’s doing the right thing. I can’t imagine Peko actually ever reaching this point unless she was trained with positive reinforcement. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Now, I’m not saying Peko wasn’t abused. She most certainly was. But there are SO many ways to show her abuse, or to disguise her abuse, that don’t involve being beat to an inch of her life.
Those are probably the biggest offenders for me. Again, just my opinion. My word certainly isn’t law.
It really pisses me off when people steal. If you really want something then work hard so you can afford it. Don't just take it because it effects everyone. How can you even feel good about yourself???? Fuck anyone who shoplifts. Get help.
