Day 16 featuring Shoto Todoroki, Izuku Midoriya, and Katsuki Bakugo x Reader.

After a long day of exploring the farm and retrieving pumpkins from the patch, you had purchased four tickets for yourself and your friends to go through the farm’s corn maze and have a good time as the last thing to check off your list of things to do at the farm. Your one worry was Bakugo’s impatience and temper when going through the maze. So, to prevent any destruction of the maze, you put Bakugo with Shoto and you got to walk with Izuku through the maze. You gave the boys their tickets and had them pair off, telling them to stick together and not split up unless both you and your partner chose to do so. Bakugo was grumbling as they were let into the maze before you and Izuku did. Once in the maze, you and Izuku decided to split up to try and cover more ground, keeping away from the angry shouts and curses coming from Bakugo. You and Izuku managed to fin each other through the maze and laughing when you did so.
The two of you kept going throughout the maze, running into Shoto who was alone and on occasion, the random wild Bakugo who was beginning to go on a rampage and on the edge of just charging through the maze, burning down the walls of corn to just get to the exit. You managed to prevent this by swapping out being partners with Izuku and being partners with Bakugo when the four of you had made it to the center of the maze. You sensed that Bakugo had been jealous that you were spending time with Izuku. When the new situation had been settled, you went separate routes, turning it into a kind of race to see who could make it to the end of the maze first. Bakugo was desperate to be the first one to the end, saying that he wanted to surpass “that damn Deku” again. You chuckled and followed the hot head to the exit of the maze where you found Shoto and Izuku already there and waving at the both of you. This made Bakugo enraged and chase after Izuku all the way to the car to go home after a long day of fun. You ran after the duo with Shoto in tow to make sure Bakugo didn’t accidentally murder Izuku before you could break them up. You managed to stop Bakugo from blasting Izuku’s head in and told him to sit in the front with you on the ride home as Shoto would sit with Izuku to break them up for the time being and cause less tension on the ride home.
You got in the driver’s seat and began to drive home, happily seeing Shoto and Izuku in the back, passed out, and holding their pumpkins. Bakugo was also knocked out in the passenger seat holding his pumpkin as well in his lap. This brought a smile to your face as you drove back home as the sun was going down.

Phinks
Despite hisserious exterior, Phinks has shown signs of caring for the other Spiders andeven some gentlemanly traits… However, we can’t forget that, no matter what, heis a member of the Genei Ryodan and also a ruthless man. Taking whatever pathis necessary to achieve the desired results is part of his lifestyle.
Despite hishot temperament, Phinks won’t be the impulsive sort of yandere, at least notright away. Once he realizes his interest towards someone, he will first try anormal approach while also evaluating his own emotions and if it’s worthy topursue a relationship, after all, the Spiders (not only the group, but whatthey stand for) comes first. It may take some time, however, being pretty sincerewith himself, once Phinks is sure of the answer, his decision won’t change. Andwhether you know him as a Spider or not will be irrelevant, even if you seem todespise him… He understands where you’re coming from and your hold to morals,but this isn’t to say it will discourage him.
If you rejecthim, on whatever base, Phinks may tryto accept it at first. After all, it’s your choice, you can’t force feelingsand he knows it, so on… He understands it, really. But… It doesn’t change how he feels. We’re not talking about actuallove, that sets the other person free… We’re talking about yandere. We’retalking about obsession.
And as statedbefore, Phinks is ruthless…
Realizingyou’re “the one” for him, he won’t mind how he can’t force you to love him.Just having you close will be enough… And after some time, you’re bound to growaccustomed to a new lifestyle.
At first, hewill be only checking on you. It isn’t just to make sure you’re fine, thisisn’t different from the preparations the Spiders do when planning a big work:He is getting ready to take you away. Even if you realize what’s going onsomehow (and you would need to have great instincts or be a Hunter in order todo so), there is little to be done, especially if the other Spiders decide tohelp Phinks (and some might, either out of friendship or because it soundsinteresting)… No matter the precautions you take, you won’t be able to getaway… You can only feel that someone is close… Something is about to happen…It’s the tension of a thread being pulled… It has to snap at some point…
Yet, youwon’t see it coming and when you wake up, you might be already far away fromyour hometown.
No matterwhat you say or do, Phinks has already decided to not let you go. And his illcan be iron. He understands what he did, but in his mind, he couldn’t bear tobe away from you and is convinced that things will get better over time… Afterall, it isn’t as if you’re getting away. Due to this conviction, he may behaveat times as if you’re both in a relationship.
Trying toescape on your own will be pretty much impossible, even during the times theSpiders are laying low and you’re alone with him. Phinks will take everyprecaution and in the event of you managing to get away, he will just bring youback. This is something he’ll make quite clear from the start.
Despite howhe says he loves you, trying to argument about how he is hurting you or weepingwon’t have any effect, either. He doesn’t like to see you in pain, but if youaccept your situation, you’ll find happiness, then speaking of the Spiders,what they stand for… You can try saying over and over how you don’t agree, howthis isn’t the life you want… He won’t listen. It’s almost as if he is an adultthat knows better. You just need time.
And believeme, you have time. Time to think about your life, what was lost, things younever did… In the event of Phinks finding you weeping, he will hold you closeand whisper kind words to you, showing a gentle side you wouldn’t expect from akidnapper. This isn’t soothing… This makes everything worse. If he loved you,he wouldn’t have done this to you…
Hisfrustration at your rejections will be clear. It’s not that he can’t see yourside of the story, but in his mind, he is trying whatever he can to make youaccept it better and make the adaptation easier on you. He loves you, does thismeans nothing for you? It’s not that Phinks will yell at you, but you can tellhis mood quite easily after a while… Once he calms down, he will want to sitwith you and talk about it, wanting to know what he can do to. Even if youglare at him, saying you only want your freedom, Phinks will sigh at it andreply that you know he won’t do this… Not yet.
But whenPhinks says you’ll have more freedom when he knows you wont leave, you knowbetter.
You won’tever be free again.
Shalnark
This is a manyou won’t even realize is a yandere for you until it is far too late. You knowhow they say you shouldn’t judge a book by the cover? Keep that in mind whendealing with Shalnark and he gives you that innocent smile of his…
For him, itwon’t even matter if you happen to be a bodyguard of someone the Spiders stolefrom, a friend of someone they killed or even a Hunter trying to arrest them… Onceyou stand out in his eyes, Shalnark will observe you from afar for a while andit won’t be long until he becomes obsessed. As I said, he won’t be bothered ifyou’re just a regular person or an enemy of the Spiders, to the point that eventhen he will try to approach you in a normal way (at least at first)…
If it doesn’tshow results within a certain span of time, if he feels the certainty of yourrejection or gets impatient, he will just jump to the next step withouthesitation. What this step is? Why, taking you with him, of course! In hismind, it’s only natural and not just because he is a thief. Remember this is aman who referred to people under his control as “toys” and “broken toys” whenthey died. Shalnark and mercy have parted ways long ago and the concept has nomeaning for him… Plus, he is doing this out of love. He just wants to be withyou and make sure no one will take you away. Of course, you’ll be upset atfirst, but you’ll come to realize you two are perfect for each other!
Finding outeverything about you won’t be hard, especially if you have some media accountthat he can hack (and he will). Withfew photos of you, he can track down locations you go to and even your address,without you ever telling him… And there are small clues in your photos aboutyour preferences too… And the Spiders have killed people for less, do you thinkhe will have qualms about a little breaking in?
One day, youcome back home and nothing will be amiss… But maybe you feel strange… There issomething making you uncomfortable… Are you just imagining things? You must be,right? Everything is the same when you left and the windows are closed… Yourskin is still cold. Small bites in your nerves. Your flesh crawling, as ifwanting to separate from your body…
No… You’rejust tired… It must be your imagination. Right?
Wrong.
Shalnark hasbeen in your home. And in just few minutes, he learnt everything about you…Your clothing size, what foods you like, your kind of music…
And he mayhave left a hidden camera.
On the chanceof you trusting your instincts and moving away, it won’t be of any help either.If Shalnark has to chase you down, that’s what he is going to do, seeing it asa fun game of tag… Hmm… Should he kill your friends before going after you? Hedidn’t like it very much the way one of them was looking at you…
Even theother Spiders know better than trying to dissuade him, no matter their reasons.Shalnark will just act all innocent, as if he can’t see why this seems wrong orcreepy. This is just what this is: An act. He is actually very much aware of what he is doing and why this is wrong… Hejust couldn’t care less. Shalnark wants you, therefore, he will do whatever hecan to get you. This is all that matters.
After a fewdays, someone knocks you out when you’re coming back home or sneaks into yourroom, sedating you while you’re asleep… Oh, you know that water/soda/milk youhave in your refrigerator? Perhaps you won’t notice the difference in thetaste…
Shalnark willtreat you nicely, yet you’re disturbed by it… It’s not only due to thesituation in itself (though that certainly is part of it), but something in hisvery nature… It’s unsettling how someone who can commit such atrocities cankeep an innocent façade, taking lives as if it was a game… And when Shalnark says you belong to him, in the sweetestvoice, you’re aware it’s literal. You’re his. And as much as he calls you hislove, you feel more like a toy or pet…
In times ofpeace, as brief as they can be, you’ll be taken out to dinners or dates,visiting touristic points if you happen to be in a town you wanted to visit…Your stomach always gets in knots in such occasions. You never told Shalnarkabout it, only a few people… Yet, when you ask him how he knew you wanted tovisit this place, he will just laugh it off. Isn’t it natural that he knowseverything about his beloved?
How can hebehave like this? You’re not in a relationship, acting as if things are normalwon’t make them so!
You canattempt arguing and pleading all you want, it won’t change anything. InShalnark’s eyes, you belong to him and that’s it. It’s creepy how he can say that with that smile never faltering. You wantto go home? Silly, you are home. You miss your family? The Spiders are yourfamily now. You don’t love him? You will.Oh, dear, don’t cry. You’ll learn to enjoy your new life.
Even if youtry to run away, Shalnark will catch you. And with a smile, he’ll suggestkilling your friends and family, after all, perhaps then you’ll understand yoursituation, right? Despite his innocent act, you know this is a very consciousthreat…

Feitan
Not one tobeat around the bush, Feitan will realize soon if his interest in you isserious or a fleeting emotion (which, I might add, is rather rare for him tobegin with), acting upon it very soon. After all, as devoted as he is to theSpiders, he can persuade Chrollo to allow him to keep you…
Once hedecides that he loves you enough to stay with you for the rest of his life,you’re condemned.
His courtshipin this state can be quite unsettling. Of course, at first, he will use ofnormal means to get closer to you, making his intentions known when he feelsyou’re ready to hear them… It doesn’t even matter if you say no, as he willkeep a “courtship” of sorts. In the event of you insisting that he stops, youdon’t like him that way and never will… Or then recognizing him as a Spider andrejecting his advances right away… Well, neither is nearly enough for Feitan tostop. And in the case of you finding out he is part of the Genei Ryodan, itjust means he doesn’t have to be careful about his true nature anymore.
Someonebothered you? He sends you their fingers, along with flowers. He finds out youwere bullied years ago? You’ll come home to find their eyes, preserved like theones of the Kurta clan, in your table… Bones arranged as a wind chimes, organsand skin sewed together as a sculpture… (Really, in this regard, he and Hisokawould share some ideas).
You know heis obsessed with you, but the knowledge is of no help. Police can’t doanything. Hunters have no idea how he is breaking in. You can move. You can beplaced in a safe house… He knows. He is close. No matter where you hide, hewill find you…
A part of himfind this to be an amusing game, but all games must come to an end. He can onlyhope that you’ve understood by now that you can’t escape… When he states thathe loves you and explains his reasons for kidnapping you, you can feel in hisvoice that nor words or tears will change his mind… Feitan is conscious of what he is doing, he is not the delusional type of yandere…But this only makes matters worse.
You don’twant him, you don’t want this? No problem. Humans have an interesting capacityto adapt and he can wait until you realize you have no choice but to live withhim. Oh, he knows he can’t teach you to love him, but it doesn’t matter if youhate him now… Time can change many things.
Your tearscertainly hurt him. While Feitan has no problem with torturing others, hedoesn’t want to see you in pain… Yet,his comfort will be telling you to give in, you’re just prolonging your ownsuffering with your resistance and this doesn’t allow him to make you happy(And he can and wants to do so). The sooner you accept your predicament, thebetter. He doesn’t mean this as a cruelty, but as a fact…
And you learnat once that escaping won’t be easy, if even possible…
If the Spidersare lying low for the moment, he will keep you with him. If you try to escape,as unpleasant as it is, Feitan will have no qualms about placing a shackle inyour ankle with a chain so you can move around the house or wherever you are. Ifthe Spiders have to leave for a job, you get the same treatment until he issure you won’t be silly enough to try escaping… And depending of yourpersistence, he may threat to place you in a cage. No, he is not being cruel.He doesn’t want to do this, but if your behavior makes it necessary…
While Feitanmay not be very expressive when the others are nearby, he is different whenyou’re alone, often leaving innocent kisses on your shoulders or caressing yourhead, enjoying holding you close while saying he loves you, often trying toengage you in conversations about topics you would enjoy otherwise… But hisattentions make you feel cold, no matter his intentions. Even if you rejecthim, he just accepts it… It shows youhow he can truly wait for you to give in and if you don’t, your presence isenough for him. There is no way you can win this battle… You don’t even try toprotest that obsession isn’t love, that love doesn’t cause pain, you know bynow he won’t listen…
You just wantto go away, to be free once again…
In the rarechance of someone finding you and trying to help, it won’t end well. Feitanwill find you and bring you back. And as for your little “rescuer”… Do you wantdetails about the weeks they lasted while knowing nothing but pain? It’s quiteinteresting what one can do when having knowledge of the limits of the humanbody… And how to keep it alive and conscious after crossing such boundaries.
You may notknow why they decided to call themselves spiders, where the symbology camefrom… And it doesn’t matter.
You can’tspeak for the others, but you can say something about Feitan with allcertainty: He truly has the heart of a spider.
And you’rethe butterfly he is keeping alive in his web. Never to fly again.
