ok so i found some stupid drawings I made a while ago (over a year youre JOKING) n I meant to make 3 of them but I only made 2 and so I finished thm

Me projecting my music taste onto Shalnark but it makes SO MUCH SENSE trust me

this is the 1 I finished yesterday kinda low quality but wtv idc the song matters more.

I believe mid 80s in his teens he would pick up synthpop particularly Depeche modes early 2 albums Speak & Spell and A Broken Frame. It's fun and silly for the most part and matches his looks from what we saw & one of his favorites would definitely be "Puppets" . I wonder why... However there are some that they made that are more melancholy like "The Sun and the Rainfall" and I think it would hit different for him especially at this point in his life with everything that happened. can probably see why by some of the lyrics I put there.

I think he would just enjoy depeche mode in general including their top albums but he definitely started with the early stuff

Going along though some bands that started synthpop eventually came to become industrial leaning (including Depeche Mode themselves and Ministry which he would also like) ... I think Pretty Hate Machine as an album would be one of his favorites too perhaps around the time of the Kurta Massacre. I imagine perhaps he was going through a lot . Struggling to keep lying to himself like he always has (dont worry they dont make it thru) and it comes out as a more dark expression as he strengthens his desire for Control (get it cause his ability huh huh

And then afterwards we get to how he was during the plot. Late 90s I will say this 100 million times Placebo is his song and he LOVES meat beat manifesto. After industrial (especially with a more electronic influence from NIN) he takes to techno and has accepted his life for how it is.

I also drew this one a year ago too (this also might be my favorite song by my favorite artist so it has to be about my favorite character from my favorite series JUST TRUST ME).
