My big brother and I got to talking the other night in bed. He was petting my hair and rubbing my back. I was telling him about my therapy homework. So I told him what I wanted. I want a cottage in the woods far away from the taboo of being in love with him. I told him that I want a live somewhere snowy with a fireplace and a dog. He laid on top of me and enveloped me with his forearms on either side of me just like the very first time we had sex. He kissed me and hugged me close. And he told me that while we’ll never be able to marry, we won’t get in trouble in New Jersey. I told him we could get a handfasting. He whispered to me that once he finishes college and gets set up with a decent job he’ll buy me that cottage and let me be his stay at home bride. I didn’t mean to but I started crying. He really is my everything❣️
