They were gifts from people! Some of them were things I found on amazon and thought he might like, but some of them just showed up lol

Where did you learn to trim your poodle? I have a very nervous poodle mix who needs a good grooming but it'd cost so much to get her groomed, and I worry about leaving her at petsmart(shes never in her life bitten even in play, but you never know), so learning to groom her myself would be helpful

I am, in some ways, very lucky.  One of my former housemates is a groomer and was willing to give me a few lessons for a reasonable fee (plus a few loaves of cheesebread and tea cookies).  I’m also lucky that Truffle got a very early start on grooming manners, and that I already had a pretty solid experience in animal behavior with a focus on how to continue his socialization with clippers. 

also I watched a LOT of youtube videos on grooming.

I have hunted and searched and cannot find that EXACT shirt. Can you tell us where you got it? Maybe that'll help.

It’s from a local place that just brings in orders of random stuff that fits its aesthetic and doesn’t restock them once they’re gone. The brand is LA Soul, which only exists online as a wholesaler that you have to sign up and get approved to buy from (in bulk only, presumably).

So I’m not just remembering it from Who Are You Calling A Wooly Mammoth. I was watching some paleoart videos and realized that what I was doing was conflating my mystery creature! It’s a combination of WAYCAWM’s art style in general, their depiction of both Eobasilius and Metamynodon, AND Walking With Beast’s Embolotherium!
