MY STORY AESTHETICS: Problems AU (1/?)
“Does the music industry attract troubled personalities, Or does it create them?”
In my digital art class, we had to create a movie poster for a movie we made up in Photoshop and do it like an actual poster, to show our mastery of everything we learned that year (Photoshop, filters, color balance, composition, text, etc.) And I made one for the story that kicked off the whole Problems Universe: Trans*ition. Trivia: I nearly did make an animated short in my film class about it, but the teachers changed the project, so I never got to complete it, though I did made a script and storyboard. The names are just names of relevant people who have nothing to do with this story (aside from me and Jill): - Asami Shimoda is the original voice of Kagamine Rin and Len - KEI is the original designer of them - Dixie Flatline is a popular Vocaloid producer who creates songs with them, such as Gemini - Hannah Marina is my old internet alias as well as a very old OC of mine - Rae Keiko is a pun on an old animator pal of mine's screen name, raekeiko (shoutout to you! hope you don't mind me using your name!) I also included a textless version, as you can see. The bodies weren't going so well, so I added that fade filter to it to kind of mask it. (No, www.problemsau.com is not a working URL (I wish), but problemsau.tumblr.com is, in case you want to know more.)
IDK, Luka mentioned they were dating in Secrets, and I personally feel fans manage to make that one more creepy than even KaiMei(Look up 'Madness of Duke Venomania on the Pit and see what I mean, or 'Go Google It'. Hell, it's hard to find GakuLuka where one member is not abusive.)
((Huh? Are you referring to Keeping Secrets, the fanfiction written for the universe? Luka doesn't say anything about Gakupo there. I agree that the GakuLuka ship is often portrayed harmfully! And it is something I will talk to Seth about next time I get to talk to him, because perhaps there's a way for it to be written in. At the moment, Gakupo's main issue is the fact that he's very old-fashioned in his beliefs, and a helicopter guardian to Gumi, his cousin that he's adopted.))
In the Problems AU, are you going to address the problems that fans create with the Luka/Gakupo relationship?
((Hmmm? Luka/Gakupo doesn't come into the AU much, at the moment. Perhaps it will get written in eventually? Huh. I'll have to bring that up with Seth next time we talk!))
