came back from my roadtrip with my family to visit my grandmothers (from both sides !) in the province.
Honestly??? i didnt even get to listen to the new albums/music i saw from that post since I think i mightve went insane listening to new music when i was getting blasted sensory-wise (i'm pressed beside people, the car music was too loud, people were talking and there was the different smells from each person all trapped inside a car.) so i just listened to my usual k-rap/j-rap playlist. i feel a bit pathetic but y'know i cant really help it.
rest of the recounting is hidden- i dont want to clutter anyone's feed :3
so after like a sixteen hour ride from my house to the port, we had to take another 6 hour ferry ride and i think it was surprisingly enjoyable. most people were asleep so it wasnt noisy besides the tv and since my family seated in the canteen there was airconditioning and the air was primarily just the smell of cup noodles. my favorite part is actually the movie playing on the tv. action film and i enjoyed explaining the different things happening on the screen to my sister even if she mostly was going like "what the hell that is so brutal"
then we arrived to the port i just passed out until i reached my lola's house (father side) she was nice but i spent the rest of the day sleeping. the stay there was enjoyable after the first few days of just- a lot of people. like i was happy to see my cousins but good lord when the karaoke machine is pressed right beside the room me and my sister was staying at....
biggest problem was that since my lola's house was so far away from the city- there was no signal or wifi. kind of went slowly insane because the only time i had to check the outside world was when i was at my grandma's house (mother side) who lived near the beach but was closer to the city. didnt stay there a lot but my grandma enjoys feeding her grandchildren so all of us had great food.
rest of the trip had me going out to the mountains to meet my relatives, doing the laundry hand-wash style, visiting the beach with all of my extended family, fishing, drinking and singing with my lola and my favorite part was actually going out to the bukid (i forgor what the english word is) to see the sunset- it was so worth it.
(my favorite photo from the trip)
going home was actually the hardest not only because of the fact i had to leave my grandmothers behind but also because the ride home took a toll on my back.
this time i sat in the very back seat where my back felt rigid and my knees numbed overtime from not being able to move it- mostly because i had to seat beside two other people. this was also after a week of sleeping on the floor with a banig- i dont really mind it but since my lola's house didnt have proper flooring in the guest room it was cold and hard even with the sheet.
another six hour ferry and a sixteen hour ride and im finally home :3
