So I’m knitting this sweater and...
I discovered, after binding off the back piece, that there are split threads. The yarn I’m using splits easily (I will not make another sweater with it) and I wasn’t paying enough attention in spots. So that’s exciting.
Am I going to redo the back? Pfft, no. I’ve already written this sweater off as an “experience project” (I really just wanted to try my hand at doing argyles) so I’m kinda resigned to it being an around the house sweater. Hell, I’m making it extra big so it can be cozy and layerable; though I might be making it too big, not sure. Worst case, I eventually rip it out.
But damn am I going to see this to the end. It may not be my best knitting...but that’s ok. It’s all learning. After 16 years, I’m still a process knitter and I suspect I always will be.

Let's just say the sleeves are a swatch, or two, and admit tension is way off. I'll calculate better and begin again.
