Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card-hen's 2nd op is a pretty one .I think I'd prefer this 2nd op than the 1st one although the 1st op had a gorgeous costume I still have mixed feelings on that . Roses is not really Sakura like but it did change her image . Excuse me for some wardrobe malfunction~.

It’s been enjoyable for me to draw this illustration studying light, composition and color. I still need to practice a lot hehehe. 

I’ve been watching documentaries on the late 19th Century. I’ve been inspired by the times(or is it still active today? T_T) when child kidnappings and then sold into slavery happened so for this illustration I chose a dark theme. I have this story in mind that is set in London ,19th Century about a noble family that’s been murdered and then the youngest child has been kidnapped and brought into an unknown place. 

Anyway I feel creeped out when I was doodling the last one where you see an old man hugging a case which is inside a young girl.

The original was also a beard. But I decided that it would not be in my version. Somehow she did not go to me here. For some reason, I decided instead to make a shadow.

It seems to be trying to soften the original bright colors and make the portraits quieter. But this pair still turns out bright. I wanted to make a bright, picturesque portrait with color accents. For me, this is quite a bold experiment.
