Why is is so easy to procrastinate? I genuinely struggle to maintain focus on studying for longer than 15 minuets. Any suggestions on how I can maintained focused?

My day started out really productive, and then went progressively downhill due to me losing things all day - starting with my attention span and motivation, and ending with the loss of a dress that I misplaced five minutes after holding it in my hand. How did I make it past the age of two?
