Random facts about the Commonwealth Brotherhood Pt. 2:
Proctor Teagan is an alcoholic.
The Brotherhood has an email system that can deliver all the way back to the capital wasteland, but they are not letting soldiers use it anymore since arriving in the Commonwealth. Anti-Institute spying measures?
Some members of the Brotherhood don’t care about the anti-synth mission and only want to exterminate regular muties like ghouls and super mutants.
A lot of the current BoS members are former BoS Outcasts. This could explain the reactionary nature of much of the Commonwealth Brotherhood forces.
Proctor Quinlan reports that Brotherhood forces on the West Coast have started worshiping Maxson in cult-like displays. Could this be why the West Coast Brotherhood in the Fallout TV show seems so much more cult-y and religious than their East Coast counterparts?
Quinlan also says that Maxson is “Assisted, even enhanced, by advanced technology, but still very much human.” Could this mean that Maxson has cybernetics?
Squires (child initiates) are taught that feral ghouls are not human.
Some squires came to the Commonwealth alone without their families with them on the Prydwn.
The Brotherhood does not take prisoners and they are trained to double tap every enemy they kill to make sure it’s dead.
The Prydwen and the Hindenburg use(d) the same gas (hydrogen) to fly. Does that imply that the Hindenburg disaster never occurred in the Fallout universe? Or did the BoS just have to make do with what resources they had in the post apocalypse?

Headcanon: the Brotherhood confiscates cigarette packs and cartons because of the inherent health risk to wastelanders, and now there’s a room in the Prydwen armory that’s just filled to the brim with cigs
Secondary headcanon: initiates will dare each other to sneak into the armory and steal cigarettes, but they have no idea how to use them and usually discard them after trying to eat one
Tertiary headcanon: Maxson has an under the counter deal with Proctor Teagan and smokes ten packs a day, which is why he looks Like That at the ripe age of 20
he steals from the commonwealth people, i steal from him, circle of life <3
